What is a reasonable price to pay for a rented apartment in switzerland?
I will be shifting to Lausanne in January 2013, with my husband. We would like at least one bedroom and a living room. Hopefully, more than 50m 2.
Thanks
2 AnswersRenting & Real Estate9 years agoIs there a difference between pearl barley and Durum wheat?
I am making wheat bags that you can heat up in the microwave. It works like a hot water bottle but safer.
Also do you think it would still work with wheat that has already been precooked?
Thanks

1 AnswerOther - Austria10 years agoCan you recommend me a book?
A friend of mine has just started to take an interest in reading. She loved White Massai. She's not so keen on fiction stories but i think maybe something like the amy tan stories might work but something simpler. Or just some good biographical stories like the white massai.
thanks
2 AnswersBooks & Authors10 years agoWhat's the name of the book, it's a historical fiction book?
It's to do with king henry the 7th... I think. But it follows the life of the queen he married but didn't kill and goes on to tell the story of the wives who he married after he set the other one aside... the one he didnt kill.
Books & Authors10 years agoOkay This is part two of an earlier question, kinda. Have I really forgiven her?
My colleague is causing me problems and I thought that I had forgiven her, I find myself not being humble to her. We work in a hotel, and sometimes one or the other of us have to check that the rooms have been cleaned and nothing's missing.
So she has been checking my rooms. She is so smug and gloaty when she finds something wrong. I guess it's because I don't trust her, and she has already sabotaged some of my work, so I can't respect her.
What's that scripture about considering others as better than you? How does that apply here?
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoHow do we treat someone after we forgive them?
Have a colleague at work who is making problems for me at work. Initially I got caught up in the drama, and feeling like a victim before finally wondering what would Jesus do?
I finally feel able to forgive, but I still can't trust her. I will greet her, and say good-bye but I am reluctant to be more friendly because everything I say to her she twists and makes it something bad. and then she tattles.

4 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoHow to reserve a barbecue site on the Donau?
Greetings.
I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to do this as the websites I have found on the Donauinsel don't have this info. I've also asked this question on a different forum, but after a week, still no replies.

Especially the learning/education should be fun angle. I think then that the natural progression of this line of thinking is that work should also be fun.
3 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade agoCopha or cremelta and do I have to use it?
I want to make a caramel chocolate slice.
http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/9164/chocolate+car...
It says to use copha and chocolate for the topping. Do I have to add the copha? What's it for?
I don't like the taste or texture of it.
1 AnswerLanguages1 decade agoCopha, or cremelta...or shortening,?
Can anyone tell me why you need to include it in your recipe? Can I just leave it out?
don't like the taste or texture it gives food. I am planning on making a chocolate caramel slice and for the topping, it's 60g copha and 125g cooking chocolate.
1 AnswerCooking & Recipes1 decade agoFood for a purple party?
I've looked at the answers for a purple party on here already but I am hoping for more detailed answers, and some recipes.
Where I live they don't sell purple potatoes, and eggplant, plums, red cabbage etc.. are out of season. So far all I have is the purple cow shake. Perhaps I could add food colouring to potato salad?

1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoI want to know what's the point....?
I want to know what's the point of making a cake, and then changing all the ingredients to make it "healthy", to the point where, it doesn't really resemble cake apart from the shape?
Why not just not eat it?
