How do we treat someone after we forgive them?

Have a colleague at work who is making problems for me at work. Initially I got caught up in the drama, and feeling like a victim before finally wondering what would Jesus do?

I finally feel able to forgive, but I still can't trust her. I will greet her, and say good-bye but I am reluctant to be more friendly because everything I say to her she twists and makes it something bad. and then she tattles.

Keep it professional, don't make it personal.

Maintain some distance, some people are indeed not to be trusted.

You forgave her and that is very big of you and a good thing. You can forgive someone and still be leary of them. You can just be professional and courteous and polite as you say you are doing. That is good enough. You don't have to be her good friend.

Don't share anything with her. A simple hi/good-bye is enough. People like that don't change easily and they know who the good people are and try to mess with them just for fun.

Treat her with LOVE....Christ yet went to the cross despite people lying about who he was, beating him, nailing his hands and feet. Show her the love of GOD whenever you can because through it all she will be condemned seeing that she has no power over you to make you stoop to her level.!
