I want to know what's the point....?
I want to know what's the point of making a cake, and then changing all the ingredients to make it "healthy", to the point where, it doesn't really resemble cake apart from the shape?
Why not just not eat it?
I liked everybodies answers. I wish I could give you all ten points but I liked the imagery of "salad disguised as a cake" comment.
Cheers.

Self-deception is such a joy ride at times but I usually do it the other way. Chocolate cake is healthy, cookies are healthy, candy is healthy... (^.^)
I was slightly touched by the hysteria when I was diagnose with diabetes and everything I love was suddenly so bad for me. Sweeteners, light and sugar free is not the same thing and even funnier is that people that try to live healthier stuff themselves with sweeteners that's bad for their health and makes them gain weight. I got over it in two months, there is no way I can live without real chocolate cake, no way.
Make a salad and call it a salad, make a cake and call it a cake, eating a salad disguised to a cake will never make you happy in the long run. That's just like living a lie.

I agree. Sometimes you just shouldn't mess with things. Eating healthy is one thing, but many people go overboard. It takes all the fun (and flavor) out of things.

To fool people into thinking they are making better food choices. We all know it just makes you want the real thing, so why not indulge once in awhile.
