3 AnswersInsurance & Registration6 years ago2001 Honda CRV 4x4-- Is it good for rough roads- but not off-roading?
I live in Mexico and do quite a bit of dirt road driving. When it rains (which is rare) the roads are nearly impassable.
What I'm looking for is whether or not a Honda CRV will be tough enough to withstand rough dirt, clay roads, the occasional shallow riverbed crossing and rocky/ rutted roads on a regular basis.
Simply put- Is it tough enough?

7 AnswersInsurance & Registration1 decade agoDo you know of any inexpensive motels in Phoenix area that are good for families ?
We don't know what we'll be doing yet- I heard about a wild west place and a desert garden and apache trail drive, so we may try some of those. We have a car and can drive to anything so being close to any of them is unimportant. We want to do it inexpensively!!

2 AnswersOther - United States1 decade agois it safe to travel in canada?
I was just reading online that another drunk Canadian has been killed in Mexico while travelling and that there are 3 assaults for every 100,000 canadians in Mexico.
Then i read that there are 732 assaults for every 100,000 Canadians in Canada- which got me really scared- There are 244 Times greater chance of being assaulted in Canada than in Mexico, as a Canadian!
I'm a Canadian living in Mexico now and am traveling to Canada this summer- What are the chances we'll be safe?

6 AnswersHockey1 decade agoWhy does Quebec need more money from equalization?
I'd love to hear from people who really do believe Quebec deserves more money from equalization. Why does such a huge and populous province with abundant natural resources not generate enough income for itself? It is one of the highest taxed regimes in North America (very likely THE highest) and yet still they want the rest of the country to support them indefinitely.
Is it a cultural problem? Are Quebecers purposely not productive because they don't need to be- the rest of us will pay their bills.
I can understand small, backwater provinces with welfare mentalities like New Brunswick and Nova scotia doing this- but not a potential powerhouse like Quebec. What is holding Quebec back from providing for herself? Why does she need Ontario, BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan (!!!) to pay her bills for her?
I'm trying not to be mean, or disrespectful to Quebecers- It would just be nice to know these things!
