Buying a vehicle out of province--temporary permit and insurance...?

I am moving to Saskatchewan from out of the country. I purchased a vehicle in BC that is getting delivered to AB ( complicated, I know.) Can I get temp. registration /insruance in AB for a car brought in from BC if I do not live in AB?

You are only eligible to register a motor vehicle in the province you reside. Period. It does not matter where the vehicle was purchase, it only matters where you now have permanent residency.

You MUST get a title and license plates and insurance where you now reside. (Your permanent residence). It makes no difference where you bought the car.
