Do you know of any inexpensive motels in Phoenix area that are good for families ?

Motel 6 has a location in Tempe called Studio 6 which is like a small apartment (has a kitchette). It's at I-10 and Baseline Rd which is a good starting point to reach any where in the Valley. It's also at the interchange where Arizona Mills Mall is, and very close to Tempe Town Lake.

There are three motels: Windmill Inn, Springhill Suites, and Residence Inn by Marriott by the Chandler Mall at 101 and Chandler Blvd (just west of the freeway). They have larger rooms, swimming pools, the proximity to many restaurants, and the ease of access to the freeway. You can check them for rates. Everything is less expensive in the Phoenix area at this time of year.

The Days Inn Hotel on Country Club and the 60 (Superstition Freeway) is a nice hotel and very family oriented!!!!!! I stayed there last year and saw alot of families staying there. They have a pool and every morning they have a free continental Breakfast and that was fun to see all the families spending time together and planning what they were going to do for the day!!!!!! The hotel is located in Mesa!! Have fun!!!!!!

best western inn of the papagos (somthing like that) in Scottsdale. beautiful place. i will be there in October.
