Where do Mexican people vacation in Mexico?

Anyone have any "inside information" on the best places to go that aren't overrun with party-goers etc?? I live in Mexico so don't need the American Luxury Resorts- Just want a great deal without all the American Tourists!!

Hablo Espanol tambien.

Each and every state has its own special place.

There is so much to choose from depending on the kind of stuff you want to do.

There are literally hundreds of small, lovely, unspoiled beaches and towns where party-goers are not much of a problem.

Where in Mexico are you? How far do you want to travel?

Jalisco, Michoacan and Oaxaca have great places for you to camp, relax, fish, surf, scuba dive...

Extreme sports are on the list as well.

You can be in a totally secluded area or you can get to hang out with other visitors.

And around every major resort, there are cozier and less crowded, cheaper and more interesting places.

If you live in Mexico like you say, you should already know the answer to your question. I live in Mexico and I know where plenty of "the best places are to go that aren't over run with party goers etc" but I'm not going to post them on Yahoo.

If you and others post that information here those "best places" will soon look and be just as crowded and expensive as Cancun and Cabo San Lucas are now. Is that really what you want???

I think I'll just keep my "inside information" to myself.

Mexico City is just a amazing capital that beguiles its readers with countless alternatives so select the best option with hotelbye . Mexico City is one of the biggest metropolitan places on earth, with 16 boroughs and significantly more than 300 neighbourhoods. Many of the very most visited tourist attractions in Mexico City are concentrated in the Historic Centre, such as the Plaza de la Constitucion or Zocalo, the National Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral, Templo Mayor, Palace of Fine Arts and Alameda Park. Several blocks north of the Palace of Fine Arts, Plaza Garibaldi is one of the greatest areas in Mexico City to listen to live mariachi music.

Acapulco is considered the country’s 16th largest metropolitan area and one of the most important destinations since its golden days in the 1950s and now you can visit it; take a look with hotelbye . In Acapulco you will enjoy the extreme fun, bungee jumping from 50 m high and a free fall of 2 seconds! In Acapulco you can also feel like you own the world because you will be treated like this in the Romano Palace Hotel. Acapulco is a city where you can enjoy: the mornings, the evening and the nights. In Acapulco you will always find something interesting to do.

Acapulco, Mazatlan, Ixtapa, Guanajuato and many other inner places in Mexico. DON'T GO TO CABO...it's more like being in the U.S.A. I did NOT like it!
