My best friend and I have been friends for ten years. We were once both carefree, loved eating junkfood and spending lots of money. Things have started to change for me. I am now having a child in April, when my friend found this out, she immediantly started accusing me of starving myself when I'd prepare a salad to go with my burger, and basically forced me to eat junk food. I also lived with her for a week to take a break from my ex, and she lived off of pop tarts, chips, and fast food. She kept telling me fat women have healthier babies (even though I have already gained 20 pounds) and that I should stop eating so many vegetables.

I started to become fatigued so I went to a doctor and was diagnosed with iron deficiency and high blood sugar and told me she could tell that I hadn't been eating properly...my friend still doesn't take nutrition seriously at all and doesn't even understand the concept of diabetes, heart disease etc...

Now that she's been on vacation for a few weeks I've become a lot healthier in my eating, while still adding the extra calories with healthy stuff like avacados and cheese. The problem is I eat emotionally and I am afraid when she returns she is going to force Mcdonald's down my throat again...Can anyone offer some online articles of the hazards of eating SATURATED fats vs. Healthy fats while pregnant?

I also want to tell my friend in a kind way that she is not being helpful to me with what she is doing and saying, and that she is wrong (which she'll never believe). It is too difficult for me to simply cut her out of my life.

Now that I am having a child I am afraid her junk food addiction will be brought into my child's life.

Originally at 5'3 I weighed 150 pounds and wore a size 10 pants, and 6 in dresses. The thing is, no one would have guessed I weighed 150, even the gym instructor estimated I was 130! My aunt who is the same height and 130 pounds wore the same pants as me when I was 150.

I wanted to slim down, despite people telling me I looked perfect at 150 so I went down to 140, and (laugh all you want) people told me I was TOO thin and skinny! One would think a woman who is 5'3 would look slighty heavy at that weight but I was able to wear a size 6 pants.

I then lost another ten pounds and became a size 4, I felt that 130 pounds was the lowest attractive weight on my frame but what confuses me is the fact that the BMI calculator says that I should weigh 121!

I'm confused...

I am 22 years old, and have a child due this April. The relationship between my boyfriend and I is on and off and I don't know if he will have a part in raising the child, so I am preparing for the worst cast scenario (that I will raise the child alone).

I have autism spectrum disorder (ASD) which effects my social skills, but not my intelligence. My doctor said she will give the ministry a call to see what supports are available for me to raise my child. I am concerned that they will take the child away, and am wondering what (besides the obvious) would cause my child to be taken from me and what I can do to make sure that that doesn't happen.

My boyfriend and I began to try to get me pregnant in May, following all the guidelines. On August 8 he broke up with me. We both saw other people and I had unprotected sex around the 20th of August (but the guy did not ejaculate inside me). On August 24th my boyfriend and I got back together. He wanted to make sure I wasn't pregnant so I foolishly relied on tests which all read negative. (although I was most definitely pregnant by this time)

It wasn't till mid December that I found out I was pregnant (the doctor assumed I was 4.5 months!) Her first thought was that i conceived in early to mid July, but when I got my ultrasound I was two weeks further behind then what she had expected, making it likely to be late July/Early August.

On January 23rd I was said to be 26.5 weeks pregnant, and my due date was set for April 28th. Both my boyfriend and I am concerned about whether it could be possible for me to have conceived later than the ultrasound expected (with the other person), and he says if the DNA is not his, he will leave. How can I wait that long to know whether I should prepare to be a single Mother or not?!

My father is a social worker, despite this, he and I have always had a difficult time getting along. He always seemed obsessed with my appearance, to the point that I felt uncomfortable and tried to gain weight as my protection.

I have what one would call the "baby," look. Chubby face, big eyes, very pale skin, red hair and freckles, and am about 5'3, with a small, fleshy body, so I would not be considered playboy material. (I am 22)

At 12 my dad started going on and on about my "womanly curves" (I was an early bloomer) and when I started to gain weight at 13, he talked about me getting a gym membership, and had a discussion about how I should get a 6 pack! He said in these words

"You could get a 6 pack, paired with the womanly curves you've developed you could wear a bikini, guys would be checking you out like crazy!"

Not only was this unrealistic, but I found it degrading. There were many comments of this sort

He seemed to want me to grow up far too young, at 13 he told me I was too old to shop at Claire's (accesory shop) and too old to have colorful streaks in my hair. He often would say "you're a woman now,"

But the funny thing is, he continued to spank me bare bottomed, telling me it doesn't matter if you are six or sixteen.

Is there a chance my dad could have been physically attracted to me, but had enough self control not to touch me?

I am wondering if BMI changes with bone structure. Here is why at 5'3 I weighed 150 lbs, and you would assume I would be overweight, but I wore a size 9, and everyone told me I looked terrific. My aunt who is the same height as me, and was 130 pounds at the time, wore the same jeans.

I then lost ten pounds, and in real life people kept commenting on how I looked thin and almost underweight, but online people assumed I must have been overweight(at 140 lbs I wore a size 6). I mean really, is a size 6 overweight?!

I lost my final ten pounds and reached my goal weight (130) and looked very slim, I wore a size 4-5 in pants.

The confusing thing is, everyone tells me I should be about 115-125 pounds for my height...but everyone also assumes I'm 20 pounds lighter than I really am at any given point. I do not do weight lifting so its not muscle.

I am very concerned.

My partner and I began trying to have kids in May, and he broke up with me early August (the 8th to be exact). Late in August I had sex with one other guy (while we weren't together) I was drunk, and do not remember all the details except that it was unprotected. First the Doctor told me she thought I conceived in July, but now she says she thinks (late july/early august) My latest ultrasound was 26.5 weeks on January 23rd. My partner and I (Leon) got back together after being apart for a month and I really love him and pray every day that it is his child. (If I conceived before we broke up it is)

My due date is April 28th so what are the chances that this baby is his?

This Spring my boyfriend and I decided to try to have a child. I stopped my birth control. Unfortunately, on August eighth (I have it written down in my journal) he broke up with me. I had intercourse with one other Man around late August (not sure of the date but I know it was at least a few weeks later). Then we got back together early September.

I took a few pregnancy tests when I began to gain weight in October, but all of them were negative, so I assumed I might have a medical condition. It took me a long time to get in to see my doctor. (Mid December!) and she told me that I was almost five months pregnant! (she first assumed I conceived sometime in July)

I got my first ultrasound on January twenty third and she believed I was between twenty six and twenty seven weeks pregnant. My due date is April 28th

Most of the conception date calenders online read that I conceived sometime just before our breakup, but what are the chances that I could have conceived late August? I am sick of "you won't know until..." I would like to know now! Any medical advice

I started dating this guy about three months ago 9 he has a sketchy past but is doing very well. His ex (who he dated on and off for 8 years) is 20 years oler than him, has a masters degree in social work, and is rich. She is also absolutely stunning. She started dating him when he was 20 years old and into drugs big time although she was married. My boyrfriend has a mental illness and did not have much to offer in the relationship but she was madly in love with him. Not only do I find this innappropriate on her part (she was married AND his social worker) but what did she see in a man so much younger than her when he was into drugs?

OK so my BF just got out of a 7 year relationship. He is 30 and dated his 50 year old social worker who is drop dead gorgeous, and looks 30. She had an MSW but was fired (live in small town, news travels) when she started dating him (left her husband). She is beautiful and very intelligent. I have a disability and am not very attractive. She was also a mother figure in his life. I am currently working towards a care aid diploma and don't even have a drivers licence. I just feel like he traded in gold for copper and feel inferior compared to her. Apparently she cheated on him and hurt him but nonetheless he stayed with her for 7 years because he loved her so much. She has a very bad reputation in town.

What should I say to him about my feelings of inferiority.

OK so ive been going out with this guy for a few weeks. Occasionally he'd try to tickle me (briefly usually each day i came over for a few seconds) and i used to try tickling him back but could never make him laugh till i tried his feet and he went crazy and it was really amuzing because he was shaking and kept begging me to stop. He hates it but i think thats hypocrisy! What he can tickle me but i can't tickle him back?

a girl I know has pretty but simple makeup, its always sparkling, I have natural red hair (dyed dark brown) and green eyes so it won't look the same on me but I want a similar look. She said she uses an Almay palette with purple silver and green...It must be discontinued because I haven't seen those colors Any suggestions? (how to apply, etc.)

I have been searching for a metallic, rather pale silver eyeshadow which seems to be hard to find. So far three caught my eye at the drugstore, they are:

L'Oreal infallible (not sure the name)

Maybelline color eye tattoo in silver strike

Maybelline marbelized eyeshadow duo (contains a shimmery light silver and a black)

I am thinking of getting the color eye tattoo...what do you reccomend?

What is the best silver eyeshadow from the drugstore, I find silver particularly hard to find.
