So, me and this guy (K) have a lot in common at school (Uni) and see each other at least 4 days a week. We have conversations about school, life, and general stuff for hours at a time. I thought this was going forward. Even more, he invited me to his house for a party. However at the party he was hanging out with a different girl, so I assumed by thoughts were wrong.

Well, yesterday one of his friends told me that she thought me and K should date. Yet, 2 weeks earlier K tried to set me up with another guy (who I haven't met since that conversation).

Should I just move past this, or should I continue to see where things are going? I don't think K is seeing the girl from the party, so we are both single. I'd quickly let this go, but I feel such a strong connection between us that I don't want to.

Yes, this may be juvenile.

To be clear here are my points:

- we run into each other a lot

- even though we just met we have very personal conversations about life and family which can last hours

- he walks me to my car when it's out of his way

- he invites me to parties and meetings he'll be at

I don't know if he's just being nice or if it's something more. He doesn't touch me, but holds eye contact. He hasn't asked if I'm seeing anyone. He also seems to be really hung-up on our age difference which is weird as it's only 2 years, which is another reason I think he's considering it.

I'm just looking for some advise here.

Around 2 months ago I inquired about a situation with a job with an employer, she told me that due to the current situation with her business she would not be needing another employee, but would keep my info on file for the future. Well, I just saw a post in our association's newsletter and she is looking for someone again. Would it be appropriate for me to contact her about the position, or should I wait for her to contact me?

I'm sure I'll end up calling her, especially because the contact person is not her (the owner), but one of her other employees (I believe assistant director), but just wanted to see if this is the right thing to do.

So, as a parent, what would you do if you caught your 18 year old in a lie? I am currently attending a school my parents do not approve of (regular university), so a while (5 months) ago I looked into a tech school they wanted me to go to. Well, I did enroll in classes there, but changed my mind basically at the same time and switched schools.

Now I have been attending this university for 3 months, telling them I was going to tech school... For my current situation I live at home and pay for everything else myself (school, books, car, phone, etc..) But, I really want them to know the truth, at the same time I know they will just tell me how stupid I am...

So, as a parent, what would you do?

I am just following what I want to do (teach). But, my parents disapprove of teaching.

I am getting a new ipod soon and was wondering what kind I should get. I know lots of people have the touch and love it, but at $299 for the 16gb is it worth it? And for those who have it do you find that you use it as a PDA as well?

So, I started having feelings for this guy. I think he may have feelings for me because he has started to talk to me just alone (we were never really close friends more or less just friends by association) and is getting really "touchy" (like touching my arm while we are talking or frequent hugs). But, sometimes I just get the feeling that we're just going to be friends. Anyways what could I do to see if he does like me as more than a friend? And do you think I'm right?

Okay so to start I am 17 and working retail so it is really busy in these coming weeks. Basically where I work I have a co-worker who absolutely hates me (talks about me to others). And she treats everyone else like crap. I can't take it any more (i've worked there for about a year and a half) She is the only one I can't work with, but the others just stand around and talk about how drunk they were on the weekend, or how they made out with 7 guys last night (I work in a baby store so it is all female) There is only 1 person who actually works and I don't mind.

Right now I am acting as a supervisor/trainer without a new title or pay and am sick of all the extra work and poor treatment. However, we do receive a bonus if we stay till Dec 29 (around $300) But, if I quit then I won't be able to easily find a job as it is after "season" The only reason I am still there is because of the good schedule and I like my managers.

So I'm currently caught at a crossroads. At the moment I have no idea if I want to study science or arts and I am graduating this year.. I always imagined I would go into science, but now I want to become a dance teacher. In sciences I would want to go into health sciences like genetics, cytotechnology. I am so frusterated and confused. I know the first year of university is not one where you actually have to pick something, but I don't even know the faculty/school I want to go to because these two things are completely different.

The thing is I have always liked everything arts and science... and I was never bad at either one (you'd think that'd be a good thing but it has only gotten me more confused...)
