Is this a literary analysis?

For my lit paper I have to do a literary analysis and was wondering if this thesis is okay:

The author's creation of Ramesh's character creates a sense of an immigrant's experience in their 3rd space as Ramesh is portrayed as living in Canada, but not understanding Canadian.

Just so you know 3rd space is like transition

The basis is good, but it needs revision. You need to put the author's name in the thesis as well as the title of the book. You SHOULD (not need to) not use create or any of it's conjugations more than one time in one sentence, it sounds weird. Spell out third, the 3rd version is essay incorrect (frustratingly). I would recommend saying: but not understanding the Canadian language. Also, I get the feeling this is a run on sentence, although I'm not sure...
