I'm so confused (RE guys)?

So, me and this guy (K) have a lot in common at school (Uni) and see each other at least 4 days a week. We have conversations about school, life, and general stuff for hours at a time. I thought this was going forward. Even more, he invited me to his house for a party. However at the party he was hanging out with a different girl, so I assumed by thoughts were wrong.

Well, yesterday one of his friends told me that she thought me and K should date. Yet, 2 weeks earlier K tried to set me up with another guy (who I haven't met since that conversation).

Should I just move past this, or should I continue to see where things are going? I don't think K is seeing the girl from the party, so we are both single. I'd quickly let this go, but I feel such a strong connection between us that I don't want to.
