How to operate the mic of PHILIPS SHL3105WT headband headset? Tried using with skype, but cannot pick up any sound.

The problem is that I can only use very small nails and hooks in the walls. Is there any way to hang a clothesline indoors without causing damage to the walls?

There are two boxes next to each other on the wall. One is Honeywell with a round dial and the other is Rogers White and it has a little lever on the bottom with numbers. I tried moving the Rogers White lever to the 25 and air started coming out of the vents, but it is cold air. How do I get hot air to come out of the vents?

I have had these circle lenses for about a month and they never bothered my eyes. Last time I put them in, they burned terribly. I tried cleaning them with a lens solution multiple times, but it didn't help. My other pair that I got at the same time, are perfectly fine and have not bothered my eyes at all. They are supposed to last for a year and the only thing I have done differently with this pair is that I have worn them less than the other pair. So, why are they burning my eyes when they didn't before? Could they be defective, or could it have to do with something else like the lens solution itself?

I am trying to do a custom theme and learning a little bit at a time. I read one book (online) on how to do it and I had copy and pasted all the demo code from here. For some reason, after this <style type="text/css"> is code, a large amount of the font turns red until </style>. If I ever try to type this out myself, it will only let me write up to <style type="> and then I cannot write anything anywhere after this ... I don't know a whole lot about HTML, I just want to know what's going on here. Every tutorial I've looked at so far uses this code, so why am I having no luck? Is the code supposed to be red? The red code doesn't seem to do anything to my blog as it should.

He is 18 years old and I think he's got some kind of kitty dementia. I don't think he can hear very well either, because if you come up from behind and pet him he jumps a little and he doesn't respond to sounds in general. Unfortunately, my parents have recently moved in together and there was a cat at both houses, so now there are the two together and he is having a very hard time adjusting to this new younger female cat in his house. Now, he yowls and wanders around at night so my mother locks him up in the basement with his food, litter box and bed. His bed gets filled with catnip and kitty treats every night. Anyway, this whole thing makes me feel awful. I can hear him crying from the basement and I wish there was something I could do.

Is there any advice anyone can offer? I wish I could put him in my room with me at night, but I'm allergic to cats and I'm afraid he'll need to use his kitty litter. Do you think it would be okay to put him in my room anyway? I am willing to try to put up with my allergies. Or is this situation totally okay and I'm just over reacting?

My boyfriend's dog bit me two nights ago, not just a nip but it grabbed my whole arm and I have some bite marks on me now and it still hurts especially because I am pretty thin and bony so I think the bone may have bruised or something. It's not especially bad, however, I still can't get over the whole thing. What happened was that my boyfriend had hugged the dog and then agreed that I should do it too and I did and then it started to growl and then I let go but it grabbed me. I feel kind of traumatized over this, thinking about it makes me upset and angry, like I can actually feel my heartbeat accelerate, etc. What makes it worse is that I already hated this dog to begin with because it has bit me before (not as bad) and it is just a nasty animal in general (may have been abused in the past, although, I have helped raise a few dogs in my life and am pretty sure this can be attributed to bad training). I also found out that my boyfriend wants to bring this dog with us when we move away! I am so anxious, angry and stressed out over this situation. I have never had a bad experience like this with a dog before or even disliked an animal before... I need to at least find some peace of mind for myself in the situation, I don't want to be upset over it anymore... So, I need advice because it looks like this dog is going to haunt me for quite a long time. I don't even want to go over to my boyfriend's house and face the animal. I just feel so awful about the whole thing. It would be nice if I could somehow learn to sympathize with the dog, but is that even the appropriate approach? What should I be doing in this situation?

I have the wooden ends of a bed frame that I am hoping to remove the paint from. I do not know how to use this product (Safest Stripper semi-paste by 3M) and I cannot find any instructions on the bottle or online. I need to know how to use it to remove paint. There is varnish on the wood under this paint, is there any way to preserve the varnish?

Okay, I logged into my Google account on someone else's laptop and once I logged out, I saw my bookmarks were still there. I don't want to leave my crap on someone else's computer so I deleted it, thinking that since I was logged out of my account it wouldn't delete this information. Well, so open up Google Chrome on my computer and all my book marks are gone! This doesn't make any sense to me.

I went onto their support page and it said "Here's how you can find what you are looking for:" followed by nothing!

I am kinda irritated, to say the least. Should I just delete Chrome off of my computer and go for Firefox or something? Or is there a solution to this I don't know about?

I haven't worn nail polish in almost a year because whenever I do, it makes my nails very thin and they start to peel. I have tried a few OPI products that are supposed to strengthen and protect nails, but they don't work.

I have used polishes from a variety of brands and they have all done this.

Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening so that I can wear nail polish again?

Everyone says it just tastes so good, but it really doesn't taste that good to me at all. In addition, the colour and consistency is a huge turnoff. If I am going to eat chocolate (usually when I want something sweet and there is no other option), I would only eat a higher quality brand like Ritter Sport or Lindt.
