Why do my circle lenses cause a burning sensation when they didn't before?

I have had these circle lenses for about a month and they never bothered my eyes. Last time I put them in, they burned terribly. I tried cleaning them with a lens solution multiple times, but it didn't help. My other pair that I got at the same time, are perfectly fine and have not bothered my eyes at all. They are supposed to last for a year and the only thing I have done differently with this pair is that I have worn them less than the other pair. So, why are they burning my eyes when they didn't before? Could they be defective, or could it have to do with something else like the lens solution itself?

I would get a new pair and throw those out.

If they're still irritating you there's a problem with your eye. They might just be irritated. Depending on the redness you may want to see your doctor.

The thing about circle lenses too is they're illegal in the US for a reason. The plastic is too thick, where by US standards its not breathable. It covers more of your eye. So in both cases there's not enough oxygen getting to your eye. There's a whole bunch of potential problems that can occur where its can damage your cornea or damage your eye sight. Especially if they aren't well fitted.

So if you're gonna wear them be careful. Wear a more breathable brand, get the education to properly maintain them and don't wear them everyday. Those aren't meant for everyday use. Again because of the oxygen issue

I don't mean to scare you. There are alot of people who do wear them for years and are fine but they maintain them well and don't wear them everyday. You can get the acuvue circle lenses if you really want them. Those are the lesser of the evils. It is safer than the other brands

Personally, I would soak them in solution for a day or two, and check if it's inside out, or has lint/small particles on it. If it still burns, I would toss it.

They're infected. Throw them out, and throw out the case you store them in.
