The Great Me

I was planning on going to SPC, a community college, for the first two years but total costs will be around 15k dollars per year to get the associate's degree. I'm estimating that the total financial aid I will receive, if any at all, will be 3k. My parents have not told me about any college savings in my name, so I doubt I have any. I'm hoping to get my first job by November, but the wage will probably be $7.75 because I'm only 17.

Senior in high school

Class rank 119/440

GPA: 3.2 and 3.7 (weighted)

No clubs, societies so far

Volunteered 76 hours

2 dual enrollment classes by the end of this year.

That's all that can be said for me.

My senior year should cost around 450 dollars total for prom, grad fees, etc. I think my father is planning on kicking me out after high school as well, so I will need a place to live. I will also need a car or at least a bike to get to any job I have. The car and place could be provided by my girlfriend's family if I have a job near their house. But that doesn't help me afford college any.

My only dream was to eventually own a music venue. But I guess that's not going to happen...

I was invited to a senior year party on New Year's Eve. It would be the second party I've been to, but the other was just a few people. I do not want her to worry about me or be jealous, but I also don't want her to end up possibly preventing me from having fun. I want to go. By having fun, I mean drinking and being stupid with some friends. I do NOT plan on cheating. She is the love of my life and I cant do that to her. But I want to be able to dance with people and have fun. I haven't told her I was invited yet. And so far, she hasn't been, but she knows the host as well.

What should I do?

Me and my girlfriend are seniors in high school. We both plan on going to a local community college right after graduation and then transfer to our own universities after 2 years. But because the area we live in has a high unemployment rate for seniors, neither of us have found a job yet. I hope to get one sometime in the next month or so.

Before the time I graduate, I will have to find myself a car and a place to live to be able to get to this community college that is about 8 miles away. Her grandmother is getting to that age where she will soon not be able to take care of herself. And her grandmother has already paid off her house and vehicle which she plans to give to my girlfriend. My girlfriend, her grandmother and father plan to live in that same house instead of pointlessly buying another one. I, on the other hand, do not have any relatives willing to give me a car when I reach 18, or have a house paid off. They live in rented houses and have lived that way ever since they moved to Florida. (My parents are split up by the way.)

I have the option to move in with them and have that right to and from the community college campus and a place to live and more job opportunities. But obviously, I hear being dependent like this, if she breaks up with me or if her dad gets mad at me for some reason, I will be kicked out and will have to fend for myself.

We've been dating for over 2 years, and never had any problems, so it's unlikely. What do you think?

It's for my county's scholarship website. The prompt says "Describe the greatest challenge you have had to face or expect to face in the future."

Now everybody has their challenges, and so did I, I suppose. But the thing is that all of my past is not something I want to write about, because some of it is extreme.

Other than that, difficulty almost doesn't exist in my life. I have somehow made myself a nihilist, someone who doesn't find any significance to anything in life. It's hard to think about how to describe a challenge because I do not see obstacles as obstacles. I simply do not care about them.

So I believe my only option is to think of something in the future that will challenge me, but there again I can't describe it.

What do I do? The essay is required.

So we were talking about the recent Syrian chemical weapon use. I am not for military action in the state, by the way.

My father said that there is no reason to play "policeman" and go to Syria and get into their business.

I said the reason is that since the use of chemical weapons violated international law of the United Nations, letting it go would set an example that it's okay to use chemical weapons for other countries. So since the US is the top contributor to the UN, they would rely on us to settle the issue. We contribute almost double the amount as the next top contributor and the same as like the bottom 150 countries.

He got mad at this and said I didn't know what I was talking about because he is older and smarter than me and has life experience.

So my GPAs are 3.3 and 3.7, unweighted and weighted respectively. I've noticed Universities accept kids with very high GPAs and I don't understand how so many people can be so good at learning as I'm doing the best I can.

But I plan on going to a community college for at least the first two years and maybe for four (SPC has recently made a four-year program), and then transfer to a university.

But let's say my GPA stays around the same, and my SAT and ACT scores are above average but not perfect. Would the degree be a key factor in accepting me to their university? Would it show that I have proven myself worthy of some sort?

Like, what if they are poor and can't afford much food anyway?

A car just crashed outside my house. Flipped over and everything. Nobody was on their phones I'm assuming because there was a police officer nearby that ran to help already. Should I have called 911 or would that have just wasted time where an operative would be focusing on the cop's call?

I never really noticed this until I took a picture a little while ago. From an opposite view, it looks.....weird. Is there something wrong here? I didn't have a stroke or anything. I'm 17.

Every website I go to that gives categories, I don't have that hair. Mine is totally different. It's dirty blonde and very straight and when it's short doesn't puff up like black hair.

I know that CC is first two years and much smaller, but I'm able to transfer to a university my third year with the credits from CC. My question, specifically has to do with what would a freshman be doing differently in each?

I see on the website Cappex that most universities do not offer many associate degrees, but CC does. Why is this?

I know that the major is what the degree is for and minors help to learn the major. But is the major started during the third year of college and during the first two years, I'm taking classes that will help me learn that major?

For example: If I already finished High School but still want to take Calculus classes for an Engineering major:

1. Would I be able to learn it during the first two years and start the major the next two years?

2. Or does the major start the very first year and I can take Calculus at the same time?

3. Or am I out of luck and cannot take Calculus at all?

4. Or is there some other way I could learn it before I go to college?

It might be a pain thing. I don't know. But when I go all the way in and hit the cervix, she moans extremely loudly.

Should I be worried.

I know that when chicken eggs hatch, they are sorted into two groups: one for females to grow up and lay more eggs, and one for males to be removed because of the "lack of use for them".

If this is the case, then how exactly are there chickens, since males are needed to fertilize eggs and make more?

I am 17 so that sucks even more. I got a new computer recently so I was giving my old one to my 8 year old brother. I guess I forgot to delete a folder called "sexting", and he supposedly found it and told my mother before opening it. She gave me a call and said she deleted the pictures but now my sister knows about it. My sister and I are really close, but I think she is going to tell my father about the pictures. My father will not take this lightly, I don't think. What do I do? Can I convince her to keep it to herself?

The pictures are just of me, nobody else. And never show my face and nudity in the same picture.
