Are Muslims allowed to eat during Ramadan in a case in which they are starving?

Like, what if they are poor and can't afford much food anyway?

To avoid such situation Prophet SAW highly recommended to eat before Azaan of Fajr prayers known as Sahoor.

Breaking fast is allowed only if a person is dying or nearly death because person is diabetic and his blood sugar level went down very low.

  • It is allowed, but under a condition. For everyday you break your fast intentionally, you have to feed a poor person. If you do not fast during the entire month, you must feed 29 to 31 people either over time or in a huge group.

If there is a poor Muslim out there that no body is helping, please let the local Mosque know, they will Insh'Allah get right to helping them.

I takes days/ weeks of not eating before you are starving.....

If someone is starving...they have no access to food....how could they break their fast????

If they had the means to break their fast....they wouldn't be starving.

Anyways..there are days when the prophet went to bed without dinner and fasted the next day...or woke up with nothing to eat so fasted that day.

Now let's say a guy went days without food and should be fasting but came across food that would spoil if he didn't eat it immediately....and doesn't know when he could eat again..then yeah....for the sake of his health...he could break his fast.

if fasting is going bring them diseases and worsen their health, then yes. But if they are in a good health that allows them to finish fasting without problems, then no.
