  • Will adding a turbo to my car increase my mileage?

Let me elaborate on that question

I really want to turbo a car but nothing big though, a little turbo works for me. But I was wondering what sort of impact it will have on my mileage? Lets say its a little 2.4L $cyl engine, what would a little turbo do to its mileage? Common sense tells me it will decrease in mileage, but, lets say its a small turbo?

Is it possible, that IF tuned right, it wont have a really nasty affect on my mileage?

Please provide as many examples as you can :(!!

    Thanks a ton!

PS: IF you know a thing or two about cold air intakes, can you tell me if they actually provide a gain in HP? Yes I understand that the cold air intake will allow for more dirty air to get into the engine, but anything else?

  • I'm trying to start a business, any ideas?

I'm 18 and I've been working since I was 16, and I'm sick and tired of the food business. I'm interested in starting something myself? I have a couple hundred saved up, I was thinking of getting car parts from something like Ali baba (cheap intakes, piping, springs, ect) and just start selling those, or some other item? Maybe offer a service?

Idk? Do you guys have any ideas or suggestions?? Maybe comments?

    Anything would help :)

    Thank you!!

  • Math homework help?

The enrollment of public schools is P(t)= -t^4 + 10t^3+ 3t^2-8t+1300 and the enrollment of a neighboring catholic school is C(t)= -t^4 + 8t^3 + 12t^2 + 1285. Over a ten year period, when will the public school enrollment exceed the catholic school enrollment?

How would I answer this question without graphing it?

So I guess what I'm asking is, thoughts on the celica (has a 1jz engine, same as a corolla)? Any recommendations? Please don't recommend a civic :(

  • What can I use as a defense against assault causing bodily harm?

I have a mocktrial and the guy is charged with assault causing bodily harm. Bernie plays hockey and he was about to get into a fight with another player on the other team but the linesmen broke up the fight and was taking Bernie to the penalty box because it was a no contact hockey game. Bernie was very mad and he was trying to break free from the linesmen, and in that action, Bernie hit Tony (another player from the other team) and Tony fell on the ice causing him to be knocked out and spent 30 days in the hospital and two cuts over and uder his eye. Some say that Bernie hit Tony and others say that he accidentally hit him while he was trying to break free from the linesmen. What can I use as defense? Can I say that it was the heat of the moment? Is an honest mistake a defense in this situation?

    Thanks!

  • HELP. My dads iphone 3gs is blacklisted?

I gave my dads ancient 3gs (that hes oddly in love with) to my idiot friend who claimed would unlock and jailbreak it for me for free. I gave it to him and I have no idea what he did but the Iphone 3gs came back blacklisted. We never reported it stolen or anything?

Can I call apple and tell them, with any proof that they want, that this iphone belongs to my father and to take it out of the blacklist? Because it honestly is ours?

Or is there some sort of way that I can get though into the phone to use again? Like some sort of software or a trick of some sort?

The same idiot friend is telling me that I can put it into DFU mode and restore the iphone from itunes and it should work....?

    Please help :(

  • Can someone say no to dna testing?

For example, in the OJ simpson case, could OJ say no to DNA testing? Could he have said no to blood samples?

If you arent familiar with the case; Lets say John was convicted of killing Julia, there is blood everywhere, blood of Julia on the ground and blood of someone else. The police think its Johns blood. Can John say no to blood samples as the police would request John for them?
