  • Why is everyone cool with the fact if you die any time after a Covid-19 vaccine you will not receive any life insurance money under most ?

So if you are married and your spouse dies and is the breadwinner and dies due to the vaccines , you will not receive life insurance money , similar To a death in military service

Because these are experimental drugs ... so now I’m not going to continue with my vaccine as scheduled . Why aren’t they covering this ?

  • Notice of Determination (EDD) ?

    Hello everyone,

I started receiving unemployment around 4/05/2020 due to covid 19. The last payment I receive was around 09/05/2020. I stop certifying because I was getting paid normally. Recently I received a "notice of determination" stating I am not eligible to receive benefits because I did not provide identity verification and have a chance to appeal.

I heard about ID.me but I never did identify verification because I was no longer Certifying.

The only thing I am worried about is from 4/05/2020 - 9/05/2020 - The status of my certify history went from Paid to Disqualification. I already got all the money since these was a while back.

I was wondering if I do not appeal, do I have to give all the money back?

    Thank you!

  • Should I get gap insurance?

My vehicle cost 21k and I put down 14k so I finance 7k. Should I get gap insurance or not? Some of the benefits my bank mention if I get gap insurance is Get deductible reimbursement when any of your cars or trucks are damaged (not totaled) in an accident

Get automatic reimbursements of up to $500 per claim

File unlimited claims for the next three years. Am not sure if I need gap insurance.

  • Can i take out a million dollar life insurance policy on my cat?

Life insurance rates have gotten pretty good lately, so it got me thinking. Also, would they send out someone to do a medical exam? Not sure if my cat would like that.

  • COBRA Insurance?

I recently got a new job. I want to keep my vision insurance through cobra. I was scheduled to be able to use my contact benefits ($145 credit) on May 1st. I really just want to keep it until then so I can use those benefits and get contacts. I logged into my insurance portal (I have VSP) and it of course shows that I no longer am enrolled in a plan. Do I just call VSP and set everything up with the new premium? And will my benefits and benefit dates be the same, so I can use those benefits on the 1st of May? Thanks for any help.

  • I have a few questions about surplus lines insurers?

I have a few questions about surplus lines insurers.

Does a surplus lines insurer subscribe to ISO for loss cost data and actuarial services? Or, if that insurer is part of a larger company that owns a standard lines insurer, does it simply share the ISO services that the standard insurer gets?Does a surplus lines insurer report its data to ISO? Does the ISO database have the experience of surplus lines insurance? Thanks.

  • Medical question ?

So my mom is in a nursing home due to covid. She is the head of house hold with a disabled dependent. My sister. The nursing home wants to do a share of cost which would be her whole pension. I physically can’t afford to pay her mortgage without that money. I was talking to an accountant and he said because she is head of house hold they can’t take away her pension. Is this true. Do you have any other tips other than buying more insurance premiums to bring her monthly income down? She get 1500 from the pension they want to take 1400. Yearly the cut off is 17,000 and my mom makes 18,000 a year.

  • Insurance help?

So my mom has medical now that she is in a nursing home. This is due to covid. She is getting better day by day. Her other instance stopped paying but her current insurance medical wants to take her pension. I use that to pay her house and I can’t come up with that. I didn’t know it would be her whole pension. I’ve researched online and it said if I purchase a supplemental insurance plan it will bring how much she gets a month down. Thus making no share of cost for medical. Is this true ?

  • Moms share of cost for medical?

So my mom receives a pension from my father who passed. It’s 1500. They want to do a share of cost for her nursing homes of 1400. She had covid and was sent there to recoup. I use the pension to pay bills and the house. So it’s not like I can just give it to them. Is there a waiver ? Or can I have them recalculate the share of cost ? Or have them offer me another option. Her other insurance ran out. So that’s why they put her on medical.

  • I was charged for my medical health benefits through pay period 02/28/21 to 03/13/21, shouldn't they be active until 03/13/21? ?

I live in Northern California and worked for Dignity Health Medical Foundation. My last day at work was 02/26/21. I thought that my benefits were good until the end of March. Wrong... Yet I thought that because I was still charged my last paycheck for the date 02/28/21 to 03/13/21. Shouldn't it be until 03/13? Yet my medical last day was 03/01 and dental was 02/28?! No one told me anything so I assumed which I shouldn't have, but I thought that if my benefits would expired sooner that they would of sent me a letter. Of course they send out a letter on 03/24/21 which I just received to tell me that my benefits expired on 02/28/21! Is this even legal? Or how can I go about it? Do I have the right for them to extend it until 03/13/21 since they charged me already? Please help because it would help for them to at least extend it until 03/13/21! Thank you!

  • Is it worth claiming on my home insurance and if so what will I receive in replacement?

I’ve recently cracked my TV badly by knocking it over, it looks un-repairable and considering claiming on the home insurance. I am aware the premium will go up if I claim but cannot find in the policy cover how the claim will likely be treated. The TV is a 49” LG TV and was purchased around 4 years ago for £550 from Argos.

What I can find is that our RAC Home Insurance cover is...

    a) New For Old, not indemnity cover.

    b) Covered against accidental damage.

and I theorise that the outcome will be one of these...

    1. TV is replaced with a similar size and brand, regardless of price, which as TV’s have gone down in price would be around £400 now to the insurance company,

    2. £550 is handed over in cash.

    3. £550 is given out in Argos Vouchers.

    4. A TV is purchased by the insurance company, for the price of £550.

    Many Thanks
