Well, my interests at least are: celts, swordfighting, conservation, Tolkien's Middle-earth, sci-fi and movies.

  • Do Japanese classrooms always face the same way?

The anime set in classrooms that I've seen all have the outside windows on the left of the classroom. It's also this window side that the main characters tend to sit.

So are classrooms in Japan all aligned this way or are there classrooms with windows on the right side?

  • How do holo decks on Star Trek work?

Does food eaten sustain you? Are you basically eating replicated food?

What if you go to the toilet, is your waste beamed into space? Does it hit the floor first and then get removed or is it carefully beamed away as it leaves the body?

Or is it all in your mind?

  • what horror movie is this?

This person is looking into a room and a girl in a white dress is standing there.

The girl runs towards the doorway and the person throws the door close .

As the girl gets to the door she becomes a ghost woman or something.

Saw it on tv as a preview but didn't catch the name of it. I'm guessing it was made recently but don't know.

  • How easy would it be to kill a zombie?

Can you really destoy the brain by poking a knife through the skull? Or even an arrow?

There are people alive today who've had farm machinery, knives etc stuck in their brains, some people have even survived suicide attempts with a gun to the head.

Zombies can even survive falling off a roof so they'd probably be a lot harder to kill than the ones we see in fiction.

  • If climate change is caused by us and climate change is bad, why aren't we reducing emissions?

Instead it's all about carbon credits and encouraging reduction.

If the problem is as bad as has been made out the last 20+ years then why have emissions risen globally? They've risen considerably since Kyoto.

Surely if it is such a problem then global emissions should have been reduced by now, not charging someone for the extra carbon they use. It should be illegal to clear-fell forest to make way for farms or houses.

Somehow paying for the rights to increase the carbon footprint helps the environment?

It's nonsense, people are getting richer off this, carbon footprints increase globally, emisssions increase globally.

So I wonder if this climate change is true like some people say, why aren't we seeing a reduction instead of being told if we pay more things will get better?

  • When are people going to admit that the media is racist when they report on stories like Ferguson and?

    the Trayvon shooting in Florida?

We've been hearing about the shooting of Brown now for weeks, people have rioted over this thug who likes to push people around and steal. The same people who rioted and looted then claim they don't get treated well by the police - oh gee, I wonder why!

I haven't seen a single thing from the media talking about the criminality of the community that Brown came from.

At the same time, where is the outrage over the murder of a 14 year old girl in her own home? Kelli O'Laughlin comes home and disturbs a buglar. Rather than running away, the burglar stabs her to death and then steals her phone. He later rings the girl's mother and taunts her. The victim was white, the murderer was black. If the races had been reversed we'd be dissecting every bit of the crime like with Martin and Brown.

The media seems to try its hardest to make out like there's a white conspiracy to keep down black people, white on black crime is rare, black on white crime is common, yet no one is talking about the racism of the black community towards white people, the media only ever talks about (mostly imagined) racism of whites towards blacks.

When will the media stop race baiting to sell stories and go back to being impartial and waiting for the facts before blaming white people for everything?

  • Nuremberg rathaus layout?

I'm looking for a floor plan or similar of the medieval wing of the Nuremberg old town hall. I know the main hall runs the length of the building, but what are the rooms off it? That is between the ceremonial hall and the courtyard.

Also, what did the rose window of the original facade look like? I've seen a small version of a painting by Juvenell which shows it, but it just looks like a blue blob. The only other image I've seen is a sketch of the original facade which also shows the houses that once overlooked the Rathausplatz.

I'm looking at doing a model of the building as it might have appeared in the middle ages.

  • Name of horror film?

Possibly made in the 90s or early 2000s, it's about people who find this cavern full of monsters. It's not Cavern, Cave or Descent.

I think the cavern was behind a seal of some kind which gets opened. If they don't close the door to the cavern then humanity is doomed etc.

  • Are courts doing enough for people like Christopher Mackney?

Christopher Mackney was one of many people who found himself in an ongoing legal battle with his ex-wife Dina Mackney (nee Scarmado) who did everything she could to make his life miserable.

Her and her father's ability to manipulate the legal system resulted in Mr Mackney taking his own life.

Now the ex-wife is trying to copywrite the suicide note to silence Mr Mackney's last words.

    Mr Mackney's side of events:

    http://www.brainsyntax.com/Portal/Material/1/Lastt...

If true, then why can the courts not see that one party has a history of litigious activity and then take that into account when weighing up the testimony of one side over another. It seems that the father-in-law bankrolled the divorce and custody proceedings with no allowances made for Mr Mackney's financial situation or well being.

Adverserial courts work well except when it comes to family courts. Family courts seem to be set up so that compromise is not encouraged and the more naive party is left out in the cold.

    How is this acceptable?

  • What should society do with young people who murder babies?

I rest read a sickening story of two teenagers who walked up to a mother and her baby.

After demanding money at gunpoint, they then shot the baby in the head leaving the mother with a dead 13 month old son and a bullet wound in her leg.

    http://news.sky.com/story/1068545/georgia-baby-bug...

RIP Antonio West of Brunswick, Georgia.

Both murderers have been arrested, one is 14 and the other 17. The older one will be tried as an adult but I believe the younger one should be too. Thoughts?

  • Is the international media racist?

Another family of white South Africans has been slaughtered recently. A man has been attacked from behind with a machete and golf club and later killed. His wife was gang raped, mutilated and also killed.

The 12 year old son was tied up and then immersed in boiling hot bath water until dead. It's not yet known whether he drowned or died from the burns he sustained.

The leader of the gang was the family gardner.

The gang of four were all black.

If the races had been reversed this would have been major international news like the white farmer who dragged his black worker behind his truck when drunk one night. Yet we hear little otherwise what is happening in that country. White person attacks a black person though, suddenly that appears everywhere.

Thoughts for the Viana family in any case and all the other forgotten victims of violent crime.

  • What year was Jesus born?

Assuming Jesus was born on the 25th December and that he was born about 2012 years ago, what year was this?

1 AD would be the year following his birth but if he was born on the 25th, does that mean that 1AD only lasted a week before rolling over to 2 AD?

Is it possible that 1 AD started the next full year then instead making his birth year actually 1 BC as the rest of the year up to his birth would have been 1 BC?
