1 AnswerOther - Careers & Employment7 years agoGolden age in the lower lower weight class division?
lower lower meaning flyweight and such
all the exciting fighters and fights come from the lower lower divisions nowadays
I can think of legitimately 8 or 9 FOTY contenders right now in those divisions and the year isnt even necessarily finished yet
Gonzalez, Estrada, Yaegashi, etc. They are all superb boxers and I believe we are experiencing a golden age in the lower divisions now
Thoughts on the divisions?

1 AnswerBoxing7 years agoDo you think the art of ducking will continue onto the next generation?
With new fighters like GGG, Kovalev, Mikey Garcia, Rigo, Canelo, Bradley, Lomachenko, etc. It seems like the number of fighters who would fight anyone widely overshadow the duckers.
maybe we will have a new golden age

5 AnswersBoxing7 years agowho has the best left hook in boxing today?
is it Donaire, Garcia, Mayweather, etc?
5 AnswersBoxing7 years agoWhat do you think about the new generation of boxers?
i actually think the new generation fighters have some heart and balls
such as Canelo, Bradley, Ward, GGG have shown that theyre willing to fight the best.
Also, I think the new generation will show a new exciting blend of a multitude of styles.
Canelo and Roman Gonzalez bring in a classic combination pressure punching style; Kovalev and GGG bring in search and destroy styles, etc

3 AnswersBoxing7 years agoTERENCE CRAWFORD NEW #1 LIGHTWEIGHT IN THE WORLD?
What an AMAZING performance by Crawford
i actually thought he was going to lose for a second when Gamboa was doing good in the early rounds, but it turns out Crawford was really just measuring him
For a person with just 17 KOS, Crawford has some crazy good power
Whatd you think of the performance? Who should he face next and will he win? I want to see him face Mikey Garcia
2 AnswersBoxing7 years agoMartinez that KO'd Williams vs Cotto now?
im not taking ANYTHING away from Cotto because that was a spectacular win over the best middleweight king in recent years.
But, if hypothetically speaking we were to say Martinez's knees were not as **** as we saw them saturday night, and Cotto came in against the Martinez that KO'd Williams, who would win?
I would say Martinez by KO
and let me remind everyone so no one gives me any hate, i am not taking anything away from Cotto because whether Martinez was over the hill or not, that was a spectacular win that only the elite can do.

7 AnswersCredit7 years agoWas Hearns Near Unstoppable? (At Welterweight)?
Think about it, AT WELTERWEIGHT, can you really see anyone beating Hearns ever whose name is not Sugar Ray Robinson (whom I still have doubts of him beating Hearns clearly)?
The thing with Hearns is, even if you try to close the distance, it would just be too much of a gap to close and whether Hearns lands a punch on your face or on your glove, you would surely feel it.
Hearns was P4P one of the top hardest punching welterweights ever.
Hearns was truly a physical freak of nature. It is completely astounding to think how a man could weigh 147 pounds and have a near 80 inch reach and height of over 6 feet.
Not saying that his legacy compares to that of other ATGs, but p4p you have to admit that no one could have stopped him at welterweight.
