you cant just lose weight in a spot....and your genetics determine what you look like so there maybe no getting away from the bigger thighs...but you can lose some fat and slim your thighs and the rest of you! Heres what you need to do...first, being diabetic, your diet is crucial! Get with your Dr and plan a diet rich in veggies, lean meats, nuts, etc...basically, avoid highly processed junk...boxed cracker, cookies, fast foot etc....then, get on a consistent exercise program that varies what you do...for 2 reasons...one, to keep your body chanllenged and not falling into a rut, and two to keep you enjoying the exercise....good luck!

First of all you can't just lose fat from specific areas on your body. Second as long as you are in a calorie deficit you will lose weight so make sure you are eating less calories than your maintenance amount (myfitnesspal is a great way to track your calorie intake) and yes exercise will burn calories thus helping you lose weight.

Losing fat is a full body effect. Start Running...do yoga or try T25. Make sure you monitor your insulin levels.
