why am i used to eating only 500-800 calories a day?

i'm 14, a girl, my height is 5'3, weight is 172.2 and i did lose 4.6 pounds in 2 weeks, plus i have type 1 diabetes. if i eat 900 calories or over my stomach starts to hurt and i won't eat anymore for that day. i think i/my body has gotten so used to eating that much that it will come to a point that my stomach will hurt or i could throw up. i am trying to lose weight but not like this ;'( and i don't really eat any lunch at school, but if i do then it's probably carrots with ranch. please someone tell me why this happened to me! my life is already bad with my diabetes!!!

I think you may have some sort of eating disorder as well. I do not think diabetes, by itself, causes that.

If you are trying to lose weight, do this. Exercise with cardio at least 30 minutes a day (walking, running, etc.) Then eat healthier. So fruits and vegetables and light protein (chicken, turkey, nuts, and beans). If you exercise and eat like this, it will fool your stomach into thinking that you are actually eating less. Fruits and vegetables have little to no calories. Eat protein and high fiber foods to fill you up. Also, ditch all the sugary and processed foods. That is the healthy way to lose weight.
