Alternatively, ust buy two sets and set them to use the same channel. Just use one transmitter and both receivers.

YES YOU CAN! It is the graco multi-room monitor. However, it was discontinued so you will have to buy it used. I found mine on Craigslist, but I've seen them on Ebay also. Be prepared to pay $80+ but trust me, it's worth it! Make sure it comes with an owner's manual or you can download one on Graco's website. It has settings where you can change rooms every 10 seconds. It comes with two parent units and two nursery units. This is what it looks like...

Even if such a set-up is not available, you can always buy two monitors and put two transmitters in the baby's room, then you could put the two receivers (listening bits) in those two different rooms.

The only monitor I've seen is by Safety 1st, and it's only sold at Babies R Us (but I would try to find it cheaper on ebay or amazon) - it's called the 900MHz Home Link Monitor. What you need to keep in mind is that, since it is a 900MHz monitor, if you have cordless phones, wireless internet, etc, you may have interference on the channels. Keep your receipts in case you need to return it.

I wouldn't do it. With several docs and reports saying that electrosmog, to include wireless gadgetry, are harmful to the body, and that this is likely contributing to the health epidemics, such as autism, I would keep electrosmog to a minimum, and especially away from the most vulnerable, babies and anyone ill.

not sure, but i would recomend the monitor we have, its a BT one and you can speak thru it like a walky talky but the best thing about it is it plays lullabies which can be switched on via parents unit remotely to settle your child with minimum interaction. this is handy to prevent silly bedtime "games" great for autistic kids. i put the music on when i say goodnight every night so he knows the music is a que to go to sleep (with a little help from our friend mellatonin) then if he wakes in the night i just remotely swich his music on to settle him again from my bed side.

oh, and for those judjing mums reading this please understand that with autism sleep is a whole mine field and ofcourse i go into my son if he needs me. i know the difference between a genuine cry and silly bed time "games"

we have 2 sets, one for each child.

Yes, you just need them on the same channel. We had one in every room (but hubby is an electronics wizz and did them on radio)
