How long for Bebe to be born? From water brake?

Look, I'm pretty sure one of your older bastard bebes can put together a complete sentence in perfect English (at least I sure ******* hope so). So delete this, give mija or mijo the phone and have them take care of it. 

Movies exaggerate so much. Don't believe it. With my first pregnancy I went into labor at 33 weeks 3 days. My water broke while I was in bed in pain. My second pregnancy my water broke at 32 weeks 1 day. I was having contractions but they went away. I stayed in the hospital for 6 days until she was born. Every pregnancy is different and water doesn't always break.

The truth is that EVERY ONE IS DIFFERENT and even every pregnancy is different for the same woman.

First of all - the water does NOT always break before labor starts.  It is possible to be in full labor and the water has not broke.

With my first baby, my water broke - but no labor.  After the water broke, I called the doctor and was advised to go ahead and go to the hospital because there is a high risk of infection once the water breaks.  I checked in at the hospital and they spent the next 12 hours monitoring me for signs of labor.  I did not go into labor even though the water had broke.  They had to induce labor with a drug given through an IV line.  From the time my water broke until the birth of the baby was almost 24 hours.

With my second baby, my labor started but my water didn't break.  I was in full labor and the water never broke.  The doctor broke the water before the baby was actually born.  This happened after I had been in labor for about four hours.  So - I had four hours of labor - water did not break - the doctor broke the water and the baby arrived in less than 30 minutes after that.

Much longer than an hour, typically.

When our first child came, my water broke at home around seven in the evening. She was born a little before noon the next day.
