Exersaucer VS Jumperoo?

I am in need of a new exersaucer as my old one is "non recoverable" after being in storage for so long and I have been considering getting the Precious Planet Jumperoo instead

http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=...

Now my question is.... if you have used the Jumperoo, does it give them the option to stand like the exersaucer does or is it more similar to the jolly jumper where they only use their muscles to jump instead of support their weight to stand?

I already have a Jolly Jumper so I really don't need somethinge else that is similar.

Update:

Walkers are illegal/banned here in Canada :(

Update 2:

http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/cps-spc/child-enfant/equip/...

not kidding about them being illegal here

Update 3:

No I don't have a jumperoo already, I was curious about the difference between one or exersaucer, but that link you gave me looks like one REALLY cool idea....might have to see if they sell them in my area.

Update 4:

My baby is only 7weeks so we're a little while yet before we need one.

What about a walker, they are cheaper than the exersaucer, if you dont want him walking around just don't attach the wheels.

You can attach your own toy to them for variety so he doesn't get bored.

EDIT* Tru, that sux lol. I would go with the exersaucer then :-)

Ebony loves her jolly jumper, but she likes to jump around in it, she's not interested in toys while she's in it.

She loves her ecersaucer aswell, but to play with the toys

My son has the precise comparable exersaucer, and he LOVES it! The jumperoo wasn't as captivating to us. We in basic terms have been given a Johnny Jumper - the type that cling in the doorway, and it became basically $10 or so.

I think it's more like the jolly jumper.

I'll be getting an exersaucer because you can buy the ones that go in the stages with your baby. Like at first it's the mat with the over hang thingy, and then it's the exersaucer and then its a thing they can stand up and play with kinda deal... (might not make sense haha).

ETA- Are they really? Didn't know that. Weird. (fellow canadian!)

I had the same question about what to buy for my son. In the end I bought the Fisher Price "Laugh and Learn" Jumparoo because it combines both the toys, the rotating seat, a hanging bar with toys, music and lights AND the jumping part. That way he can jump if he feels like, but if he doesn't, he is supported in the seat.

He is now 7.5 mo and loves chewing on all the hanging veggies as well as jumping.

I looked at the precious planet one, but this laugh and learn one has more toys and features, so I figured he wouldn't get bored as fast. He sits in it while I eat breakfast!! (i.e. right now...)

    Good luck!

Walkers are dangerous and makes babies lazy. I have a jumperoo for my 7 month old and she loves it, her legs are getting so strong because of it that she's already trying to stand. I suggest getting either a jumperoo or saucer but I do not recommend the walker at all! Trust me on this!

How old is your baby? Since you have jumperoo already, invest on this. My daughter loved walk around in it or just stay in it & the seat can be taken off so she still loves it(15 month). Even 3-4 years olds plays with it too.
