If the ABC, CBS, and NBC stations are WABC, WCBS, and WNBC, then why isn't the Fox TV station in New York called WFOX?

Just wondering if the "sample ladies" at Costco get a commission, spif, or bonuses if you buy the merchandise they are demonstrating? I sampled some Margherita pizza either today, and when I started to put the Pepperoni version in my cart, sample lady said "please, buy this one"...her plea sounded like she got a bonus. It was not a "you've made a mistake and grabbed the wrong box" type of plea!

I was looking at the slogan yesterday on a truck, and thought it sounded wrong. Wouldn't the same meaning be expressed by restating it as "Everyone likes Sara Lee" ?

Where is a good place in the Phoenix metro area to get Chicago deep dish pizza? Would like answers ONLY from those that have actually eaten there. Otherwise I can just look it up on the internet, but I want REAL stories.

I saw the Radio City Christmas Spectacular for the first time last year at the Dodge Theater and LOVED IT. Now I see it's NOT anywhere in AZ this year. Do they skip a year and it return next year? I am thinking of renting a week in Hawaii. Not sure yet which island. Do all timeshare rentals go Saturday to Saturday? It looks like it's easier to get a free airplane ticket, using miles, if I can go Sunday to Sunday.

Suppose I hire a handyman from Craigslist to climb up on my roof to change the pads on my Evaporative cooler. During the process, he falls or somehow hurts himself. Am I responsible? I know my homeowners insurance would cover it, but would he be considered an "independent contractor" and be responsible for his own injuries?

I saw a Nissan Maxima with 4 tailpipes....what is the advantage/value over 2 tailpipes?

I have an Infiniti G35 and it has 2 tailpipes, both on the left. But the newer models have them split (one on the left, one on the right)...does that make a difference?

I bought a 2003 G35, and it has a different trunk lid than other 2003 and newer models. It has a hand grip on the exterior of the trunk. And no inside trunk release, since the hand grip also is a release latch, and tied into door locks.

Anyone know why they changed the design on the early 2003 models?

The CD player on the factory/Bose stereo stopped working (I have a 2003 G35). Dealer says he can only replace the entire unit, about $500. Has anyone else pulled their factory installed stereo and installed something else? Prior to it stopped working, the Bose system Infiniti installed provided really good sound quality, but before I spend the money, just wanted to see if anyone else has replaced it with something else.

I bought a used Infiniti from an Infiniti dealership. Because of how harsh the summers are on car batteries here in Phoenix, the dealer offered to put in a brand new battery. Only a month later, the battery failed (on the weekend). The AAA tow truck came out and tested the battery and said it was a bad battery, then he said "here's your problem, you didn't add water to it." I was shocked, since all the batteries I've bought in the last 20 years were "sealed" batteries, requiring no maintenance.

My question is, do they even still make "non-sealed" batteries, and if so, was the dealer trying to be super cheap by putting one in my car rather than a sealed battery?

I bought a 2003 G35 from the local Infiniti dealership and all the tires were inflated with nitrogen. Salesman said that is standard practice at this particular dealership. I have bought new 4 new tires from Bridgestone store, and am wondering if I should take the car back to the dealership, have the air purged and re-inflated with nitrogen.

Interested in hearing from others who have had Nitrogen inflated tires.

I want to buy an extra key to my Infiniti G35, and found a web site www.StreetKeys.com that sells the key blanks at considerabley less than a dealer. But for the 2003 model year, it has 2 choices: G35 Track Model, OR G35 built before 07/03. How can I find what year/month my G35 was made? Is there a code on the engine block?

I have had 3 auto accidents in 7 months, none my fault. All 3, the other driver got tickets. All 3 had auto insurance. Two of the accidents totalled my car, and I subrogated through my insurance company, Hartford. Should I be worried that I have a black mark against me in the insurance database? Hartford claim service has been great to work with, but just am worried if it's coming with a price adjustment. Even though Hartford will go after the other guys's insurance, I'm sure they put a price tag on the work they are doing on my behalf.

I had a chance to drive a 2008 G35 LOANER from my dealer, and he showed me how the keyless ignition system worked (I have a 2003 G35).

My question is, what happens if you accidently break the key fob? Are you screwed, or is there a manual (using a regular key) backup? I just can imagine, you are on vacation, and accidently break the keyfob at a rest stop on the interstate, and can't start the car, because your spare keyfob is at home.

Just bought a 2003 G35 and love it. Was wondering what other cars in the same class (Lexus, Acura) are also RWD?
