Is it challenging to find a job in Phoenix and Maricopa County as a Clinical Social Worker for children with an LMSW and straight A's? ?

I'm wondering how challenging it is to find a job in Phoenix or in Maricopa County as a Clinical Social Worker for children with an LMSW and straight A's immediately after graduation. Is Phoenix a very difficult city to find work in as a therapist or anything in children's services? How competitive are jobs in Phoenix? I'm asking because I want to be licensed in Arizona and I do not want to move away.

I was just in Phoenix. The hospitals were hiring visiting nurses and paying huge amounts of money. I can't speak to the specific job you mentioned, but there's a huge medical community there, and I saw several facilities specifically for children (there was a children's hospital with the most adorable Christmas decorations!) The apartment complex we were in catered to people from out of town on short and long assignments in the medical field who were in Phoenix for a matter of months. So my guess is that they need professionals in every branch of physical and mental health services.
