Can some babies cry at the sound of their mother’s voice?

I don't know what you mean. It's been proven that babies hear their mother's voice before birth and recognize it (and that of other people who have been around a lot during the pregnancy.) That may help the bonding process after birth. If you're asking if a baby hearing his/her mother's voice in another room might cry to get her attention, I certainly think that's possible.
