VW Passat CC 2011 Window wipers not working?

Can anyone offer any advice?

I was driving yesterday and my wipers stopped in the middle of my windscreen, I’ve checked the fuse and that’s fine, not sure what else to do!

Otherwise go to VW Dealership and tell them and they will sell you a silver or brown plastic box that plugs in into the fuse box as the other one has burnt out.  It is a relay. Personally, I would let the mechanics there fix it as if YOU buy the electrical part (it is yours whether it solves the problem or not)-but if it does not solve the problem the mechanic can swap the part back. The mechanic also checks to see if there was any bulletins on that particular car(which VW gets first).  Wipers and water-this maybe an electrical issue the Dealer mechanics can fix faster than you-as they know what they are looking for.

. I would go that route because it is FASTER so CHEAPER.

Start with the BASICS here! get a can of GUNK ORANGE ORIGINAL ENGINE CLEANER and go to a DIY car wash! WASH EVERYTHING with engine RUNNING! Clean the BATTERY posts and even the battery SIDES! if you are NOT using a genuine EUROPEAN BATTERY< GET ONE! NEVER use an AUTO ZONE BATTERY they are pure JUNK and WORTHLESS! The RIGHT battery will have REAL SERVICING CAPS on each power cell! CLEAN the BATTERY POSTS without disconnecting As you MAY then need a REPROGRAMMING of the computers. There is a BATTERY JUNCTION BOX on the BATTERY CABLES be SURE they are SHOWROOM CLEAN! and NOT frayed!  The CC is FABULOUS! IF you are NOT USING GENUINE  AUDI/VW approved 502/505 oil DO SO NOW! This is a WARNING! NEVER use VALVOLINE or cheap oil in there! WALMART has genuine 502/505 spec oil for EUROPEAN CARS for $20/5 QTS in 0W-40! This is WHAT YOU NEED! to prevent timing chain and timing belt failures that are SO very pricey! PENNZOIL ULTRA EURO gives an extended engine warranty to 500,000 miles with PROOF of use! They can TEST the oil to see if you have been using it religiously! This ends WORRY for everyone! >>>CHECK ALL THE WIRES going to the BATTERY!!!!! Undo the BATTERY COVER to see! email me with your results @ rgmusker@yahoo.com I keep track of these things and IMPORVE my skills as WELL!

Pin test the wiring harness that plugs into the wiper motor with the key on and the wipers set on high speed. Use a 12 volt test light. Try running another ground wire to the wiper motor housing.

It's almost certainly a dead motor. Buy the Haynes manual, a new motor online and DIY. It's an easier job that you may think. You can test the old motor with leads from the battery. If the motor rotates OK then the switch is suspect.
