Did you use qtips to clean your ears out lately? If you do, you probably hurt your ear drums or something. See an ENT doctor

Or it maybe an auditory hallucination. See a psychiatrist.

Or maybe you've listened to a song hundreds of times on high volume that you're recalling it and think that you can hear it

Please see a doctor thanks whom will no doubt

    Check for Tinutus?

Sounds like a very normal hypnagogic

    hallucination

that many of us get, during the transition

    between sleep and

Being awake and visa Versa called hynopogic

    hallucination.

See your doctor if still concerned thanks.

    Thanks

    Very Best Wishes

It could be hypnogogic hallucinations which is when you are sleeping or really tired and you hear and see things. If it continues and it bothers you please seek professional help...a trip to your physician : )

Is this in one or both ears I v o n n e? It could be tinnitus, this can take on many forms (noises) and, can be quite distressing. ;-(

Is it right after a dream? Maybe you hear it in a dream oddly as you're waking up, and it makes the illusion of it being in the room? It could be outside if someone is following a routine and is humming loudly but I doubt that part, if it goes on while you're fully awake, someone might have broke into your home, but I doubt they'd make their presence known. It's really hard to make a logical solution to something like this since it's repeating.

I wouldn't say supernatural right away, but if you think it's a ghost, then you can check it out. Though a logical solution might be better. I've also really only had clawing at my door, never any humming, and it was every night, but I always thought it was my animals.
