Why are so many people so habitually offended these days?

Banana peels in trees, Christmas songs that help kids overcome bullying, pictures of coal miners at 5 pm...it seems like there's nothing that's not "offensive" these days. When did we get to be such wusses?

I know and it really gets me ill.

It may be that with the internet everything gets shown.

    Good or bad.

I don't know, but I agree with you. Almost everything is offensive to someone anymore. Wish folks would toughen up a little. My grandma would be about 130 now and I'll bet she wouldn't be offended by some of this crap!!!

This world is hard enough on its own, we really don't need to add more stuff to make people's lives difficult. I don't think we have become bigger wusses, but are just able to voice when things affect us. Before we just couldn't speak up and be heard. This world doesn't need more jerks, it needs more kindness. We have always had, and will always have a large quantity of people who care more about themselves than others. That segment of the population isn't going anywhere. But we could use more people who care.

It's human nature to always have something to brag about. Not saying it's right. It just is.
