Why do I find female voices so aggravating, especially since I am female?
Before you start calling me a misogynistic bastard, note that I don't hate women, and I'm trying my damn hardest to solve this issue, but to no avail, hence why I asked this question.
In the (roughly estimated) age groups of 12-25, I can't help but get frustrated and angry when I hear female voices, typically western American accents. This really shouldn't be the case, as I live with my sister who is almost 19, and I don't find that annoying at all. My 5 friends are virtually the same age group of annoyance, but still nothing. I can't think of any past experience that could have drawn me away from this type of voice, so does anyone have an idea or share my feelings?

I doubt it's the voice itself but rather what's being discussed at any particular time - lack of intelligence.

Fun fact: Studies show that men talk more than girls and they don't realize it. (Look it up).
I found that especially true when I found myself listening to my friends bragging to their girlfriends about trivial matters, sometimes things that I doubt actually happened. You're probably more used to hearing our voices than hearing women talk, or maybe you're easily annoyed by the high pitched voice? I got to tell you once you get over it, talking to women is fun. I am a guy, but I find myself able to discuss a lot of topics with my sisters and girlfriend rather than listen to some stupid new shoe, a girl my buddy saw or how a guy is such a wuss.
Also, I get interrupted less and I don't have to hear a story about how he knows about this thing and thinks he it like that, and that one time he did something that vaguely relates to that topic. This made me LOVE women's voices.

Beats me. I love the female voice, and everything else about women.
