Weight loss from jogging and sprinting?

I've just recently started a jogging routine of 1 hour a day every morning and do random sprints in between. I weigh in at roughly 87-88 kilograms from a wopping 97 kg. I am curious if my 1 hour of jogging and some sprinting everyday will help me loose weight over a 2 month period. And yes, I have also cut down my calorie intake.
