What got you interested in kpop?

First, Super Junior's Sorry Sorry had showed me the basic to K-Pop.

Then, I started liking Super Junior, but not majorly. I listened to American bands 98% of the time.

Afterwards, my friend kind of progressed me a little further. She showed me Run Devil Run. I did not know who it was by, and I did not like it that much. I started, to listening to Gee and Oh! by SNSD, and I started to sing the songs. I was into anime at that time, so my iPod consisted of 40% Japanese song, 50% American, and 10% Korean.

After, I got bored on Youtube so I digged even further into the K-Pop business, now my iPod became 40% Korean and 10% Japanese.

I fell in love with K-Pop even further and now, my iPodis 99% K-pop. The 1% are the English Versions of the K-POP songs.

I got into Kpop through a friend who introduced me to some old school groups that she liked such as H.o.t, Shinwa, FinKl and S.e.s. I fell in love with these groups about five years ago and I've been addicted to Kpop ever since.

The first song I heard was 'Replay' by SHINee years ago, and my cousin was obsessed with DBSK around that time too so I was exposed to quite a bit of K-Pop, but for some reason, I didn't really get into it lol. I think it was because I was listening to a lot of Japanese music at the time so I was already preoccupied by that and up until recently, I loathed K-pop with a burning passion. Anyways, a couple months ago, I heard 'Lonely' by 2NE1 in a makeup tutorial on YouTube and loved it, so I listened to the whole thing and I started to get into 2NE1. The rest is history. My 2 favorite K-Pop groups are 2NE1 and MBLAQ. I also love Big Bang, Tablo, U-Kiss, FT Island, Clazziquai, and others that I can't think of at the moment. Lately, I've been listening to 'Tick Tack' by U-Kiss, 'Take it Slow' by Taeyang, 'Before You Fall Asleep' by Taeyang, 'Trick' by SNSD, 'OH YEAH' by GD&TOP (feat. Park Bom), 'Scribble' by MBLAQ, 'Warrior' by B.A.P, and 'Bad' by Tablo.

mmm as far as i can remember it all started out with superjunior and wondergirls when their songs sorry sorry and nobody became a hit in the philippines... i was not actually hooked into kpop right away and thought that their music and looks were weird but after frequently watching their mv's and hearing kdrama ost's i started to appreciate it..i officially became a kpop fan around early 2010 when idols like beast ukiss shinee suju and more started visiting manila..

I discovered kpop from my brother.

he was randimly youtubing when he suddenly stumbled across a video with a kpop song playing in the background. he searched it up and then later he told me about it. The song was 'How Come' by Brown Eyed Girls. I liked it immediately after hearing it the 2nd time ^^ .. i then went through a 1 month Brown Eyed Girls obsession and i only listened to them n no other kpop group.

One day, i found out Gain was on a show called We Got Married and since im Gain bias, i watched it and that's how i discovered Jokwon and 2AM <3 . I became a huge Adam Couple shipper too hehe. Then i found the MV 'Tomorrow' by 4Tomorrow and that's how i discovered After School (my fave group of all time), Kara & 4Minute. After that, i started looking into other groups ^^

Since i discovered girl groups first, i guess that's y i like girl groups more than boy groups :) (im a girl btw)

Simon and Martina got me interested in Kpop. My favorite groups would be B2ST, Block B, Infinite, B.A.P, Teen Top, B1A4, Boyfriend, 2NE1, Wonder Girls, miss A, T-ara, 4minute etc

I was in an asian music store when I was holiday looking for Jpop :) I had a friend who was into Kpop so I picked up a BigBang CD and a SHINee DVD and fell in love with them and Kpop <3 :D

Well, some time ago ( I don't know for how long I love kpop xD ) I liked only metal music. Heavy metal music. Then I got into anime. Sometimes I didn't sleep at all, because I watched anime. I liked visual kei and jrock, but then I start listen to jpop. I found in a newspaper one article about one singer in my country and about SHINee. It was something about SHINee's song Lucifer. The picture was from Lucifer mv so I throught that they look cute and that Taemin is very beautiful girl xD ( I didn't know what his name was and I didn't know that he's a boy... Don't get me wrong I love him :D ) Then I found that song on YouTube. I didn't like it at all. I found it stupid. But then I started to listen to it everyday. I didn't know why I was listen to it, but in time I fell in love with them. Then I found Oh song by SNSD. They were soooooo cute....Then I fell in love with SNSD, found out about Super Junior, fell in love with them.... And then I started to listen to it. Although I love kpop I still love anime and Japanese music. Now I'm the only girl in my whole school to love kpop. And I don't care, because some people in my class started to like some songs from groups like SHINee, Super Junior, f(x)... I think that my whole class will love kpop soon... I'm so proud of myself :)

What got me into Kpop and how I first found out about it are two different stories (I knew about Kdramas before Kpop since my grandmom watches Kdramas).

My first time hearing about Kpop:

I am totally in luv with the internet and back in 2010 I was one some quiz website and I was looking down the list and saw a quiz about korean groups so I clicked on it because I am part Korean. I got an answer and it was someone from the group BOF so then I started listening to their songs. They weren't bad but I stopped listening to them in like 4 days because I couldn't understand what they were saying. But I also found out about We Got Married too.

How I got into Kpop:

So in 2011 I was on YT since I would spend ALL my computer time in YT watching videos and listening to music. For some unknown reason I decided to scroll down the page and I saw the Most Popular list. There was a video that was colorful and I clicked on it. The video was about a few seconds long and when it was over I was like 0.o but then I watched it 2 more times and I was like :D I luv this song! It turned out to be a teaser for SNSD Visual Dreams. I then started looking at the suggested videos and listend to Gee and I got addicted to SNSD.

How I got into different Kpop groups:

So about 2 weeks later it was Asian Herritage month and I was on Demand (I have Comcast) I was looking for something to watch and then I heard SNSD Hoot playing on the screen that shows the things that were just added. I was totally flipping out because Hoot was my fav and still my fav song by SNSD. So I would listend to SNSD like everyday on my T.V. untill one day I got curious and wanted to see what the other artists sound like. I looked through all of the names but every time I clicked on one it would either be a balled or the song would suck. I kept seeing the name SHINee but I was like 'what kind of name is SHINee? that's a stupid name to name your group'. But their song Lucifer kept begging me to listen to it, so I did. The song was awesome!! But I my thoughts on the boys themselves...eh.

My thoughts on Shinee boys^^

Onew: I didn't remember him even though he's the first person to sing. If you were to ask me how many people were in Shinee I would have said 4. The only time when I remember Onew is when he says that one line one of the words reminded me of the word 'b*ner' lol

Jonghyun: He was pretty good looking. He had strong facial features.

Minho: TOTALLY HOT!!!

Key: He's the girliest of the group (I was soooo right on this). Annnd his hair looked horrible.

Taemin: I luv his hair.
