Would you gasp out of surprise, but like anyway any politician who said that all politicians, state or national, in an effort to help balance the budgets, take a 25% pay cut, accept no fringe benefits and reduce the size of their staff. 

Now, back to what might really happen.

Good ask Jack - no better leader you'll have than the one willing to do so by example!
Thad McCotter, has suggested as much with duplicity and wastage in his congressional seat
Asking ordinary Citizens to tighten belts whilst those in charge are in freefall is unforgivable, in my opinion

That will never happen and we all know it. They never take pay cuts always increase!

i'd take 10% salary cut and office budget cut....
