Have you looked at "treehelp.com"? Picea Koster or Blue Spruce is prone to a fungal disease, Cytospora canker. Ask someone at your nearest nursery about what to do. Are you living in the right zone? Some states have been having a record year for heat, drought & dry air with a lot of leaf scorch going on in deciduous trees due to lack of rain and ground water. Sunnygardens.com says that your tree needs rich moist soil and may have problems with aphids or spidermites. It looks like a gorgeous tree. Takes me back to my youth in the northwest. Good Luck!
