    God became a man.

    Men can die.

"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:

Who, being in very nature God,

did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,

    but made himself nothing,

taking the very nature of a servant,

    being made in human likeness.

And being found in appearance as a man,

    he humbled himself

    and became obedient to death—

    even death on a cross!

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place

and gave him the name that is above every name,

that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,

to the glory of God the Father."

    Philippians 2:5-11

"But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone....

Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham's descendants. For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for[a]the sins of the people. Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted."

    Hebrews 2:9,14-18

God is three persons; the father, the son, and the holy spirit. The father is God, the son is Jesus; and although Jesus is God, Jesus also is man. This may not make sense, but try typing it in the search engine and you can get priests/ ministers to help you out. In short, Jesus shares the qualities of God and man. : ) Hope this helps you.

Jesus had no sin and probably would not have died naturally in his human body.

Jesus was murdered and by human standards, but the bible tells us that he

    gave up his spirit.

Jesus had the power to give up his life and to take it again.

That is what proved He was God.

Jesus was fully man, fully God. God can do anything! He sent his one and only son Jesus to die for our sins.

    John 3:16! :)

Jesus is not God.In his prayer to his Father, Jesus made a clear distinction between him and his Father when he said: “This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.” (John 17:3) John 8: 42 states :Jesus said to them: “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I have not come of my own initiative, but that One sent me" These scriptures show that there has to be a higher power then Jesus to send him to the earth to die in our behalf and for him to pray too. He wouldnt pray to himself. Lastly Jesus also helped God create us as his master worker (prov.8:30)

Jehovah is God Almighty, and Jesus is his Son. The two of them were not equal before Jesus came to the earth or during his earthly life; nor did Jesus become equal to his Father after being resurrected to heaven. Also it is impossible for God to die so it can not possibly be him.

To understand that, you would have to understand the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Also, in the Bible it states: In the beginning there was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (referring to the Holy Trinity). Furthermore, it was Jesus' human body that died and was resurrected. God always was and always will be and is beyond our human understanding. Peace!

God is both Spirit and eternal and therefore can not die...He chose to clothe Himself in a physical body of flesh, blood and bone, while on earth(Jesus Christ incarnate)...The human body is susceptible to physical corruption and eventual death but the spirit of man,as God,is eternal..

God is Father,Son and Holy Spirit..Three persons or manifestations,of the singular, triune God or Godhead...

Further,Jesus "chose" to suffer and die to redeem lost humanity, for Himself...As God,Jesus stated,"Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels"? Jesus could have avoided the Cross and continued in His physical body but rather submitted to the will of the Father..

when He came to earth He came as a man. The only difference between us and Him was that He was born without the Adam sin nature. That's what makes what He did so significant. He beat Satan without His God powers. If He did it then we can. Through the word, prayer, etc.
