  • Best Flourescent bulb for seedlings?

I'm expanding my seed starting... have been using two two bulb shop lights with one cool white (T12, 34W, 4100K) and warm White (T12, 34W, 3000K).

Will be switching to 4 4 Bulb shop lights. Thinking of using 4 Daylight Plus bulbs in each fixture (T8, 32W, 6500K) ? or would it better to stick with mixing cool white and warm white? The daylight plus bulbs are full spectrum bulbs. Only use the lights in the spring to start all the seedlings and then store until the next year. Many thanks...

  • Christians, what are we commisioned by God to do?

    Do what Jesus did...

(Mat 11:1-5) After Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in the towns of Galilee. When John heard in prison what Christ was doing, he sent his disciples to ask him, "Are you the one who was to come, or should we expect someone else?" Jesus replied, "Go back and report to John what you hear and see: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.

We are to preach, teach, lay hands on the sick for healing, cast out demons, raise the dead. Jesus also spent a lot of time in prayer to the father. He was always doing the will of the Father and was constantly being led by the Spirit.

We need to do these things. If your not doing these things you are falling short of the great commission. Am I doing all these things... I have yet to raise someone from the dead but i'm working on it.

We are not called to debate or get into any fruitless controversy. Unless you are being led by the Spirit into some debates with atheists, stick with what Jesus commissioned to do. Pray for the atheists and bind the spiritual forces behind the person. That's what needs to be attacked not the person. Once you have bound the demonic forces then the person (who is not to be attacked) can see the gospel. You can also loose the person after you have bound the demonic forces behind the person.

A good book on this subject is "The Saints at War by Frank Hammond"

  • Christians ... are you willing to spend time in prayer?

I've been reading these posts and have been trying to help folks through posting nonjudgmental bible based answers. I hope and pray that I've been able to help a few. There are quite a few atheists on this forum. Are you willing to spend some time praying for some of them? Just pick a few names and pray for them daily in intercession. Call out to Lord on their behalf. Stand in the gap for them between them and judgment.
