You're Body Mass Index (BMI) is 18.6 .

You have to be less that 18.5 to start gaining weight. Although 18.6 is pretty close.

Okay so, you're going to have to do that in a healthy way, don't fill up on junk food and go obese; please! Eat things in moderation.

Slightly increase the amount of protein you intake, and join a gym. Lift free weights, use cable machines, run, rowing machine, or even the cross-trainer (Elliptical).

If you're intaking enough protein and do some weight training, you should be gaining weight in a healthy way, called muscle weight.

1 cubic inch of muscle weighs 10 times more than 1 cubic inch of fat .

    I hope I've helped.

    Goodluck

(st is about 57.7kg. I dont know how old you are, but as you age, have children etc your weight will increase. However, I can understand your worry, when i was a young mum i was 7.5 stone and didnt put on weight till my last child.

I find that to keep an even weight now I eat plenty of protein, fresh fruit and eggs and bananas. The high carb drinks are not good to keep taking, take them just when you are ill and cant eat. Its possibly the drinks that are suppressing your appetite.

As for not having an appetite, try eating small but often meals at first. Your appetite should increase. Perhaps you live alone? try eating with people or inviting a friend over for a meal - company makes it more appetising.

I hope this helps a little.

That's 57kg which is light for your height but not terrifying. Going days without food isn't good for your body - apart from losing weight you really need the fuel to keep yourself going, to repair damaged cells, to grow etc etc. I wouldn't focus too much on gaining weight, as you get older you will naturally put on weight and if you tend to be thin you're at a bit of an advantage. Instead of pressuring yourself to eat to gain just eat small amounts through the day and see it as "maintenance". Eat an apple here, a sandwich there. Tell yourself you need to do it but don't force the calories. Eat a healthy diet and your body will respond the way it should. Yu may find you're always thin but it will get better as you get older...and lots of people would kill to be skinny!

i hav exactly the same problem. i dont think u should worry about special shakes or anything just eat three solid meals a day with meat and fruit/veg in most and exercise should help buff you up.

in case you wan't to earnings weight, and build muscle. you do no longer wan't to easily over eat with junk ingredients. this might somewhat makeyou fatter, and unsafe. yet once you wan't to earnings muscle you will might desire to drink some intense protein drink's, shakes, ingredients. Peanut Butter & Jelly i think of could be a solid commence. The Peanut Butter will supply you Protein, jointly as the Jelly has lot's of intense Fructose, and Sugars, to help positioned of the burden. you are going to be able to wan't to verify some inexpensive CVS Pharmacy over-the-counter varieties of organic herb pills to help help the muscle groups. i would be unable to think of of any names of those varieties, yet i understand they exist, i've got heard of individuals taking them, and had solid outcomes whilst taken usually.
