YOU'VE GOT MAIL, you've got mail. I hear this all day long.

Endless posters of desperate men. The list goes on and on.

With NOTHING TO LOSE and nothing to gain their lives are lost and broken. They hail from here. They hail from Hell and some are from Hoboken.

GOOFY Ginsburg and SAPPY Saul, there's even DOPEY Dick. With Festus as my right hand man, we're HERO AND SIDEKICK.

HORSE AND CARRIAGE, LOVE AND MARRIAGE were never meant for me.

I chose this life. It's all I know. It's where I'm meant to be.

Yet in these thoughts I see a face. The face of my sweet Lady.

Thank God she's NEAR. Thank God she's DEAR.

Thank God she is my baby.

When darkness falls and stars appear, the moon is in it's glory.

But all I see is my Sunshine..... And now I end my story.

KITTY JONES’S DIARY

Hi--My name is Kitty. I live in the city. I tried “love and marriage,” but that didn’t work out, so I moved far away from those who were near and dear to me to start a new life. I think I miss Mom and apple pie the most.

Since I haven’t made many new friends yet, I am thinking of placing a personal ad. I haven’t exactly decided what I will say in the ad, but think the header will be “Must Love Dogs.” My two little doggies are named “Sleepy” and “Doc” after a couple of the dwarfs in the story, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” That was one of my favorite childhood stories. One Halloween, I even dressed up as Snow White, and took seven of my little cousins Trick-or-Treating. Each was dressed as one of the dwarfs (Sneezy, Sleepy, Dopey, Doc, Happy, Bashful and Grumpy.) A couple of their friends wanted to tag along with us, so we called them “Goofy” and “Sappy.”

Snow White found her Prince Charming! When will I find my handsome prince? I can’t even find any frogs to kiss. I need Fairy Godmother, from the Cinderella story, to come by and work a little magic. I wonder what she could do with a Halloween pumpkin and my two doggies, Sleepy and Doc? She’d say, “Now that just ain't right! A pretty girl like you shouldn’t be home alone on a Saturday night! BIBBITY! BOBBITY! BOO!” Next thing you know, I’d be out in a horse and carriage riding through Central Park. Of course, I’d have to be home by midnight. Still…….there seems to be something missing?? “Oh, yes! The prince!”

“Oh! Well! Enough of this reverie. I am an adult, after all!”

I felt a little hungry. “Wonder what is in the fridge?” I mused, “Seems to be a bit bare--only French fries and ketchup. Oh, well! French fries and ketchup, it is!!!”

“While the fries are cooking, I guess I’ll check my email,” I said to myself, “Maybe I’ll ask Mom for her apple pie recipe.” I turned on my laptop and logged on to AOL. Soon, I heard the magic words, “You’ve Got Mail.” I started scrolling through the mail list, “Spam! Spam! Spam!” and then I saw, “Find your Soul Mate at eHarmony. We leave Kitty logging onto eHarmony. She figured she had nothing to lose. Perhaps she’d finally meet her Prince Charming. “Love works in mysterious ways.”
