  • freezing lobster tails?

So, I had to get my live lobsters today. I am cooking the lobster tails on Christmas. I have 2 days until then. Do I cut off the tails now and freeze them (just cook the rest of the lobster) or do I cut the tails off and just refrigerate them until I cook them on Friday afternoon! I know the meat can go bad pretty quickly so I'm just not sure the best way to handle it. Looking for suggestions.

  • Not Reporting W2 Wages?

So, I recently had someone tell me that by law there are certain types of employment where you do not have to report the income from a w2 on your 1040. This individual did not list their income from the w2 on their 1040, but they listed on the 1040 that they took the standard deduction and listed the taxes they paid during the year. In the end because they didn't list any of the w2 wages they in turn received a refund in the full amount of the taxes paid. For 15 years I've been looking at financial applications and this was the 1st time I have seen this. Seemed fishy to me but they insist they are doing nothing illegal. Thoughts?

  • 20HP Kohler Engine?

I have a 6 year old 20HP Ariens lawn tractor with a Kohler 20hp engine that needs to be replaced. Would the 20hp engine in the Cub Cadet be the same? Meaning it could technically be pulled from one and installed in the other?

  • Who else appreciates a nice pancake?

We focus so much on rushing yards, catches, and scoring that sometimes we overlook those players that create those opportunities. Last night's Pats - Steelers game showcased two of the best blocking TE's in the league, and the Pats have both (that doesn't mean there aren't others). This is the Dion Lewis TD at the end of the game. Rob does a nice job staying with the D-lineman and Dwayne Allen stays on his block like a boss. Love TE pancakes. Those 2 were crucial to the success of this play.

Not sure how many of you actually "watch the game". I figured this might be a nice change of pace to all the troll threads.

  • Images from Canon Powershot D1100 IS to IPhone 6?

So I have this older Canon Powershot and I want to use it for taking photos while fishing on off a tripod. I am not overly tech savvy but I have the USB for the camera and I have a USB to Lightning connector for my IPhone. So in theory my thoughts were I could just connect all of the cables and access the images off t phone. I guess number 1 is this possible? and number 2 is that I have everything connected currently but do not see how to access the images off the phone. If anyone knows if this is possible or how to do this I'm all ears.

  • Vernier Caliper Style measuring device?

So I'm looking for a Vernier Caliper style measuring device in inches. Really what would be perfect would be something say the size of a T-Square you use in drywall (maybe a bit smaller) that functions like a caliper for measuring the outside diameter of objects that could be up to say 26" in diameter. Actually, an add on piece to a drywall T-square would work as well. Could be made of plastic. Measurements to the 1000 of an inch is not the accuracy I'm looking for but something that is going to give a pretty close measurement. I can't find anything online that resembles what I'm thinking of.

  • Copier/Printer end of Lease?

So my question is what does the leasing company do with the printer at the end of the lease? We have 3 months on our current lease and then we have a buyout figure or we have to pay to ship it back if we don't want to keep the machine. Our last machine was a local company and at the end of the lease they were responsible for picking it up...3 years later that machine is still sitting in our office. We like the current machine but we might just go back to using the old one as it's still sitting there. However, is the buyout negotiable with the lease companies? what do they even do with the leased copiers when they get them back?

  • Can VOIP phones run on COAX service?

We are moving offices. Our current office has Fiber service from the cable company and we use our VOIP phones with the fiber service. The new office we are moving too does not have fiber service in the area, just coax. Is there a way we can still use our current VOIP Cisco phones with a standard coax internet and phone based service and keep our DID #'s?

  • Thoughts on this Article?

I read this article by Sally Jenkins this morning from the Washington Post. I certainly realize that the majority of the country wants to see Brady lose this appeal and everyone is entitled to a personal opinion. I do however enjoy reading articles like this one from someone who "appears" to not have a dog in the fight.

  • Umbrella Rig Tubes?

I picked up an Eagle Claw Umbrella Rig at ***** Sporting Goods the other day to have as a spare, the 4 arm that comes with the 5 different colored surgical tubes. Does anyone have any idea who makes the tubes that they have with their rig? I always like to have spares and I can't figure out who makes the tubes for this rig? I like the way these are constructed and want to get the exact ones. I did email Eagle Claw but have not heard anything back yet.
