  • Anyone have any recent experience with Boxed Wine?

I am having my wedding reception at a Pavilion in the Park and we are only allowed boxed wine and cans of beer.

    http://www.astorwines.com/WineSearchResult.aspx?p=...

This place is near to me and I can order boxes of wine, I have some questions: A) How many "glasses" come out of a 1L/3L/5L box of wine? and B) What is good? I've noticed people mention blackbox is a good brand, anyone have any ideas?

  • What is a good song to honor my deceased father (for the daughter/father dance) at my wedding?

And also, would it be appropriate or not to dance with my fiance's father? I love his family very much and think of his dad as a 2nd dad. Any thoughts are welcomed.

  • Can someone help me pick some good Wedding songs?

Looking for some fun wedding songs. Anyone have any good ideas? Looking for slow too, but mostly upbeat stuff. I hope you can help, we're having a difficult time putting together the dance part of the play list. It's gonna be diverse for the older folks as our age (30). Help us make a nice play list!!

  • Anyone know what is the best boxed caked mix?

So I was thinking of buying a boxed cake mix to make cupcakes. I wanted to buy red velvet or maybe vanilla and just use red food coloring (for Valentine's Day). Can anyone suggest a good boxed cake mix? Does anyone know if Whole Foods or Trader Joe's has good ones?

  • Red Velvet Cake/Cupcakes..good recipe?

I've looked online and found SO many different recipes for red velvet cake/cupcakes. Here are the top 2 I've found:

    http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Red-Velvet-Cupcakes-3...

    http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Red-V...

I think I will make them with cream cheese frosting, not vanilla.

I have NEVER made them before though and I don't know which one is most accurate. And if anyone else has any awesome recipes, I would love to give them a try as well!! Any ideas?

I also found this recipe: http://www.recipezaar.com/Waldorf-Astoria-Red-Velv...

Says use butter instead of shortening, but question? Some of the recipes call for unsweetened cocoa and others just say cocoa. SO which is it? Unsweetened or Sweetened?

  • Anyone know about credit cards?

Hi, I need to get a new credit card, because I have my wedding coming up and don't have much income coming in at this point. Problem is, I have been denied before (recently) by my bank for one, are there any credit card companies out there who will allow you to apply for a credit card AND would be willing to give you credit line? I am not looking for a credit line for thousands of dollars, just like $2,000 or less. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am starting to freak out a bit here.

  • What happens when you don't add salt to your baked goods?

I am making pumpkin bread and I'm already an hour in, just realized I forgot the salt!!! I don't know what's gonna happen..anyone have any ideas? Currently it's falling apart in the oven, it's never done this before so I am assuming it has to do with me forgetting the salt. I assume this will make this dish inedible, ugh!!

  • How can I consume the daily allowance of water?

I find it extremely difficult to drink the recommended daily amount of water. I drink water at work and when I get home. It's the only thing I drink besides 1 cup of coffee a day, but it never seems to be enough. I feel like I am still slightly dehydrated everyday. Does anyone have any good suggestions for making it easier to drink water??

  • Has anyone gained weight from taking Paxil?

I've been taking Paxil now for a little over a month and I feel beyond bloated! Has anyone else had this experience? Do you think it's from the medication itself or that it makes you have more of an appetite than normal? I'm just trying to figure out if I should continue or not. I don't like the way it physically is making me feel. Any suggestions?

  • Need Help finding an International DVD/Blu Ray Player?

    Hi there,

So I am trying to find a Blu Ray Player/DVD Player or one or the other that can play ALL REGION CODES. I am looking for something that can play 1, 2, 3 , and 4 as well as A, B, and C. Does anyone have any ideas? I checked with Panasonic and they have one that plays 1 or all, or A, but that's it. I have a client that is from Europe, but lives here in the US and has some discs that have a 2 on them. I am not sure who else might have something like this, or if it just doesn't exist at all yet. Any help?? Thanks!

  • Anyone have any experience with taking Paxil?

I just started taking Paxil, the lowest dose possible, 3 days ago. The only thing I have noticed for side effects is nausea and a lack of appetite. I also take Xanax (.25mg) at night to help me relax after working all day. I just wondered what other people have experienced out there with this drug? I am using it for anti-anxiety.
