  • 1999 Buick Regal 3.8 (K) No start condition?

Ok here's the deal. I have a 1999 buick regal with a 3.8 liter non supercharged engine. Here are my symptoms and what I've done so far:

-Engine turns and intermittently wants to fire but doesnt. But mostly just turns over

-I have good spark on all 6

    -I have good injector pulse

-I show a fuel pressure of about 50 psi

I have replaced coil packs and module, crankshaft position sensor, wires. I also replaced the fuel filter which was plugged almost solid.

In the beginning it died while driving. It started misfiring badly and wouldnt restart. Now I'm here trying to figure out my problem. I'm almost thinking fuel pump, but I cant seem to find the proper psi online. And I dont want to make a 300 dollar guess.

Also, the only codes I was showing was po300, multiple cylinder misfires....as if I needed a computer to tell me that. LOL

    Thanks for the help.

  • What would be a good way to remove old reg #'s from my hull?

I have a fiberglass boat, and I'm sure I could do it with a razor, but i'm nervous about that gel coat, so I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas on how to remove the stickers without damaging the gel coat.

  • Fly fishing reels?

This may seem like a dumb question for all you fly fishing guys out there, but after years of fishing with spinning, bait casters and even spincast when I was a wee lad, I finally got myself a cheap fly outfit...The question I have is, that this reel is a click drag set up, but do I have to mount it right hand retreive or can I mount it left hand? It turns and clicks both ways...help me out guys.

    Thanks in advance

  • New reel, now what rod?

My mother got me a wonderful little Pinnacle Inertia Finese Baitcast reel for Christmas. I have always used spinning reels and I've always wanted to expand my collection as all fishermen do. But I've never had to pair up a reel like this. I usually fish with light and ultra light tackle. I'm looking for some ideas on what rod to match this reel up with. I'm thinking of a Guide Series titanium pro graphite rod 6'6" fast action med/heavy weight. Or I looked at a 7" shimano with the bare blank in the handle. I'm looking for some other options. I dont want the action so fast that I rip the hooks out, but I want to be able to cast tightly. Suggestions are welcomed, Thanks

  • Do you take your lures out of the original box or save it?

I'm about 50/50 on it....I've seen lots of guys saving all of their boxes, and some who save none. I want to know what you are and why.

  • Any Idea? Not fuel pump?

2001 Chevy Blazer ZR2 . Crank, no start. I have good spark. Fuel pump is working. I have 58 pounds of pressure (constant) at the schraeder valve. But I'm not getting fuel. If I pour it into the intake it will fire up and then of course run itself out of gas, but it wont start or stay running. Oil pressure gauge says its good as well. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

  • What does one look for when buying a used boat?

I am looking to buy a used boat. I dont want much, basically, I'm just looking to get in the water to do some fishing, and maybe some skiing. I know I want around 20 foot and I want a bowrider, but what sorts of things do I look for? Engine? Outdrive? The only thing I know about boats is that they float. Any advise on buying my first boat would be appreciated.
