2 AnswersOther - Arts & Humanities1 decade agoYummy TUNA Casserole Recipe Anyone?
NOT using a can of soup or prepacked tuna type helper product. Do you have one you make from scratch and is simply delicious? Canned tuna is preferred.
I haven't been able to find one. I remember an auntie making this when I was a child and cannot duplicate it.

2 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoComputer screen problem - task bar relocated?
While on internet observing and moving around some maps, I somehow moved the task bar (normally located at bottom of screen) to the far right and in a vertical position. I cannot return it to the proper location for love nor money. Its driving me crazy. I have looked at the 'help' sections to no avail.
Can anyone offer advice to put it back to where it should be before I lose all of my hair?
4 AnswersMonitors1 decade agoEliza Acton's English Salad Sauce recipe anyone?
I have found a copy of Mrs Beeton's English Salad Cream recipe; however, I would like to see Eliza Acton's recipe.
Acton published her recipe prior to Beeton around 1850.
Difficult to find on internet. Thank you.
4 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoBudgie question?
Budgie has been in our yard for close to 4 weeks. We live in Pacific NW. This is an escapee. Caught little fellow. He has been eating non-stop. How to distinguish male/female. Do you think he will survive now that he is in captivity again? Don't know if he/she is just thin or was starving. Looking good though.
Thank you all for any help.
Cheers!

Specifically for dust and cat dander for living room (not large room). Performance is most important, but I don't want a large square box in the living room.
Thanks.

5 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agoRat poison in kitty food in U.S.?
I'm in the Pacific NW in Canada.
I just heard on the news that the wet cat food recall is due to RAT POISON being found in the food? It was identified in the New York area. Have any of you heard this???
P.S. My kitty does not eat any of the brands identified, but I am still v.v. cautious.
7 AnswersCats1 decade agoAny information about Febreez?
I can't figure out how this actually works, what is in it. It reminds me a bit of the scent of clothes after being in the dry cleaners.
I use it on my area rugs after vacuuming (cannot be washed and I dryclean only).
Does anyone understand the science, if there is any, behind this product? Thanks.

12 AnswersCats1 decade agoRecipe for deer meat?
I am not a fan of hunting and not into meat very much, however, husband came home with some deer meat (about 3 lbs) he was given as a gift which he felt awkward refusing. He has been warned of future "gifts".
I feel it would disrespect the life the animal gave to just chuck it away.
Not sure what to do with it. Hamburgers and are not the answer. Appreciate your suggestions. Any good recipes?
6 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoGum on expensive velvet shawl fringe - Help!?
I have a large and lovely black velvet shawl (v. expensive) with a decorative edge followed by a long fringe. Fringe is 4 inches long. Some how, some where, a white piece of chewed gum attached itself to a bit of the fringe. Disgusting. It is really mashed in there. I do not want to cut it off, similarly as you would not choose to cut your hair.
Please, any suggestions??
4 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agoIs there an easy way to wash a high ceiling without dripping water on floor?
I am about to paint two rooms. I have searched the web for easy solutions regarding the necessity of washing walls, ceiling prior to painting. Some sites say yes, others say no - and just give surfaces a thorough dusting. I would like to avoid the washing step if possible. Any suggestions regarding this disgusting chore.
