Is it actually true that it is worse to get AstraZenca doses at a 4 week interval than a longer interval?
My parents got the shot under a special program about a month ago, but with all the negative coverage and vaccine hesitancy with AstraZeneca these days, there may be an opportunity to get it at the minimum 4 week interval as some places have resorted to calling around trying to get people to book appointments for AstraZeneca. Anyways, I was going to try and help them secure a second dose at the minimum 4 week interval, but now I am reading reports that efficacy is stronger with a longer interval. So now I am conflicted, should I help them try to get their second dose at 4 weeks so it can be done with or wait longer? Does it make much of a difference?
