Is Canadian academic Jordan Peterson your go-to guru?

Update:

He likes cats, so he can't be all bad.

Update 2:

The U of T hasn't had such a famous guy since Marshall McLuhan or Northrop Frye.

No, definitely not.  The guy has weird issues.

Dr. Know-It-All, expert on everything. Behavior modification has proven methods for getting depressed people to clean their rooms (1st step in recovery says Jordan) but he doesn't like that. Peterson likes Freud's favorite astrologer, Jung, and 19th century loony F. Nietzsche.

Guru might be taking it a little too far.  He's not saying anything that we shouldn't already know, but sometimes we need to hear it anyway.

Only if I want a *really* good laugh. I do not know how someone quite so hateful can be called an academic. His latest book, 10 MORE useless sissy rules, is "kinder" in response to the heavy amount of  homophobia and sexism he had peddled before.

I would be embarrassed if I were him. "Lobsterman" ain't taken seriously no more.

I don't have gurus, but I tend to listen to him about Marxism and psychology. He makes sense to me. He is easier for me to listen to than to read, I find.
