What can be treatment for knee pain?

    Try this:-

    - take an over the counter pain reliever, like ibuprofen, paracetamol or aspirin.

    - apply some BenGay (topical treatment for pain relief) and then wrap it with some saran wrap, which increases the heat of the liniment, but be careful not to burn your skin.

    - improvise a pair of knee pads by folding two sheets of bubble wrap into squares, tape them into place and taping them to each knee, or sew a couple of pockets onto the knees of an old pair of trousers and slip them inside. A scrubbing sponge like a sponge scourer for cleaning does this too. Alternatively, get 2 sanitary towels, put the adhesive side on the inside of your trousers so the absorbent part is against your skin. (Obviously the thicker varieties work best for this.)

    - rub some mustard over the affected area, massaging it into the skin. Once it dries, rinse off and repeat.

    - cut off the knee part of an old pair of tights or an old stocking, and wear over your knee as a knee brace if you cannot get an actual knee brace.

    - pour 2 cups of uncooked rice into a microwave safe container and heat in a microwave for 1 minute, then carefully spoon it into a clean, used sock (not too compactly) and place it over the sore area. Using a heating pad or hot water bottle works as well.

    - apply an ice pack to the sore area. If you don't have one, a bag of frozen food, like some frozen vegetables - peas are ideal for this as they can mold to your body shape better - can work just as well.

    - try to keep your weight off the sore area by using crutches and staying off your knee as much as is possible.

    - if nothing works, see a doctor for help. Your GP can help, or they may refer you to a rheumatologist for help.

    Hope this helps.

I have a wooden mallet for just this sort of thing.  What I do is I take a good swing at your knee cap and give it a jolly good old wack.

“You're as old as your knees,” as the saying goes. Knees are, without a doubt, one of the most important structures in the human body. Knee injuries can become an unavoidable part of your life if you don't take good care of them. Knee pain should be evaluated by a physician to rule out fracture, early symptoms of arthritis, or some other severe illness. The good news is that li has a promising future ahead of her.
