What if COVID-19 never reached herd immunity?
What are the chances for real that the pandemic COVID-19 will forever be a pandemic where we will have 700,000,000+ deaths for several years?

Chances are, I highly doubt the pandemic will be around forever because people WILL eventually stop caring and the government will likely not bother keeping it up either.
If I had to take a wild guess, it will likely end by next year.

FWIW, 500k deaths is really NOT all that bad when you compare it to the Spanish Flu.
The SF killed between 650k and 675k Americans. The closer we get to that number the more the Govt, media and medical professionals will scream and shout that everything has to be mad mandatory.
The one thing they DEPEND ON the fact that many Americans are FUNCTIONAL IDIOTS and don't know their history and the SHEEPLE continue to blindly believe and accept their BASELESS FEAR MONGERING PROPAGANDA.
FACT 1: In 1918, the US population was 103 million.
FACT 2: The current US population is over 360 million.
FACT 3: When you multiply 650k by a factor of 3.6 the result is 2,340,000. The number of deaths from Covid-19 to equate to the lowest estimated number of deaths to the SF.
FACT 4: When you multiply 675k by a factor of 3.6 the result is 2,430,000. The number of deaths from Covid-19 to equate to the lowest estimated number of deaths to the SF.
More interesting numbers from the CDC website:
FACT 5: The number of deaths from Pneumonia in 2018 was 43,881.
FACT 6: The number of deaths from Pneumonia (WITH COVID) is 244,131.
FACT 7: The number of deaths from Pneumonia (alone) over the last 16 months (the Covid-19 time frame): 436,503.
FACT 8: The 10-fold increase of deaths can only be explained as Covid-19 is really PNEUMONIA.
FWIW, WHO's very first article on Covid-19 stated that it was PNEUMONIA.
