Mentone, Texas is considered a town, It's the only town in its county, which is Loving. It doesn't even have a school. The school shut down decades ago. It has a courthouse, a post office, a gas station, two stop signs, and little else.

A Dairy Queen is not required. A post office is. small towns don't deliver mail to houses. You pay rent for a post office box. A stop light is not required.
