What could be going on?
Lately, I've been experiencing cold/hot sensations. Around 3pm every afternoon, I become very cold which lasts about an hr. I then start to warm up then become extremely warm quickly to the point where my face, neck & ears will become red & the skin is almost to the point of burning. This will last a half-hour or so.
This doesn't have anything to do with menopause, or hormones. I do wonder if perhaps my thyroid is acting up or something else is going on. I don't have allergies that would cause this, & my medications aren't to blame either.
I made my doctor aware of this, but she thought it could be a reaction to something. I think I should contact my doctor again?
I do NOT have, nor have I ever had Covid-19. My most recent test was just over a week ago..NEGATIVE.
PLEASE READ & ABSORB...I repeat...I do not have, nor have I ever had Covid19.
All test results were NEGATIVE. By the way, if a TSH test is very low, it means the thyroid is OVER-active, not UNDER-active. Therefore, if the result is high, it means the thyroid is UNDER-ACTIVE,

Might want to have your blood sugar checked. A rise or drop in glucose levels can cause similar symptoms

Guess what? The thyroid is controlled and controls via hormones and your TSH is likely lower than it should be AKA hypothyroidism.
Here's a seemingly random question that has EVERYTHING to do with it:
Do you think that sugar, HFCS, honey, nectar, juice, molasses, syrups or white flour products are foods?
These are the most likely candidates and you can contract COVID-19 as you are reading the results of your test.

Usually this is related to hormones or menopause.
Or it maybe an allergy. Do not dismiss these hypothesis that easily before you are tested.
it is good to go for a blood test.

Sounds like mid-day tiredness, or hypglecemia. Eat or nap, as fits your situation, & see if that helps. This is not medical advice. I'm only a guy who has lived 54 years. If seriously concerned talk to a doctor. (Lots of online virtual ones now ot toocostly)

Have you ever been treated for Covid-19? I've heard a lot lately about people who recover from the Covid, but still have symptoms such as chills and fevers, lack of energy, etc., which can come and go. They call these people "long haulers" and it's estimated that 30% of people who have had the virus come under this category. I am not a medical professional, so I suggest you ask your doctor about the possibility if you have ever tested positive for the Covid.

It could be anxiety. Or maybe the heating system in the building is messed up.
