    If you want to, it's your hair. 

    You should look up a few tutorials on how to cut your hair, before you decide to do it.

    Hair is hair and it will grow back .  So if

    you comfortable then , go ahead .  I use

    to have long hair until I decided to cut it

    because it was too much to maintain or

    take care of it but ....later on , I regretted

    it so much.   Before , you cut your hair 

    write down some  pros & cons .
